When lee rang asked yu ri why when she stabbed him istg i can feel his whole heart shattered. His whole heart which seems to only has place for yeon and a little piece for his mum but deep down there’s yu ri there has always been a place for yu ri he just pushed that away. Lee rang is really the only person yu ri loves she’s dumb we know that haha but she probably hide her feelings most time because she doesn’t want to lose him and also seeing him only focusing on lee yeon, it seems as if there is no place for her in his life. It’s high time for lee rang to realize just how much yu ri means for him and start acknowledging it :( I can seriously write a whole thesis on this duo istg

I think their relationship is hard to make a name. They are not just friends but also not lovers. Rang is someone who's been hated by his own mother and punished by his brother because slaughtered people in the past. Yeon loves his young brother of course but it is Yuri who he trusts the most and Yuri adores him whatever he did (good and bad things) so the fact he did not hurt her back after she stabbed him multiple times and even touched her cheek gently with pure sadness (no hatred) showed how much she means to him.

@@novitabasaria7282 Yes. I've read a lot of comments where people compare these two with Yeon and Shin Ju, the wet guy, but I just can't imagine the scene where Yuri stabbed Rang with them. Like what, would Yeon hold Shin Ju's head like that? And he would fight for sure. I could understand that Yuri feels indebted to Rang or is grateful because he is her savior, but how can Rang not like Yuri. She was the only one there for him, she shows so much affection for him and makes him laugh, have fun... But even Yuri, just because he saved her and she is grateful, why couldn't she like him next to that. I mean they have such a matching personalities, but not to alike, just right. They are pretty much all the other has, well they have other people now, but not for the past five years... I just think it would be natural for them to be together, but I guess that's not how a lot of people see it.

It is complex, not as simple as Yeon and Shinju, not bickering love family like Yeon and Rang. It is something else other than that but mixed of familiar things too, if that makes sense 😂❤️ Rang even mentioned he likes the scar on Yuri's shoulder in the beginning of the series. She kissed his jugular vein 😂 The way he touched Yuri's cheek after she stabbed him multiple times is actually way too intimate for just called bro/sis, master/student, friends 😂 In my opinion, it is Yuri who truly gives Rang the Love he desires (his mother never did and his brother often to choose his duty as Mountain god). Yuri won't judge him no matter what, will do anything for him, will dislike anybody who makes him sad. He feels freedom with her. I cannot imagine how much she hates herself for stabbing him.
