Thank you very much for uploading this beautiful 1959 masterpiece starring Yam and Fong. Having watched this film countless times I am still enjoying it in its entirety. Yam's performance is unmatched and second-to-none. Thank you again for the excellent work -- the film is sharp with clear Chinese sub-titles. On this day, Nov. 29, 2024, let us take a moment of silence to remember Madam Yam Kim-Fai, the most unique personality of the Cantonese opera stage and screen. 35 years have passed since she died, at age 76, on Nov. 29, 1989, Yam's star remains undimmed. She is able to retain multi-generational recognition to this day. Her definitive style in playing the leading male role beautifully is engrained in our heart and in our mind.
