For his substats prioritse energy regen until required > crit stats > def% > flat def > reasonance liberation dmg > Resonance skill damage. If you are using him as main dps, basic attack damage bonus is also good. I missed miss a part of his forte. In infused state after a heavy attack or Dodge counter, using a basic attack will trigger thunderweaver which has high multipliers. You can include this in your main dps rotation. The liberation gives lightning infused state to everyone in team, this includes Yuanwu as well. 13:33 Accidentally repeated that audio segment since I forgot to remove it. 😅

Thank you for this! Been trying to build Yuanwu since he's currently my strongest support and Sub DPS! My man be eating those vibration bars for breakfast (maybe even lunch and dinner)!!! Verina is one of my support as well and Havoc Rover is my DPS!

@@justmewatching5312 I guess it compares to Intro damage? I built him as a main DPS and equipped Void Thunder Echoes on him with 44111 cost. The main Echo being Thundering Mephis. If you want Sub-DPS build (which I'm also gonna try), it's Moonlit Clouds, the main Echo is the Bell-Borne Geochelone. 43311 is the cost. His stats are: 4 Cost Echo: Crit Rate or Crit Damage 3 Cost Echo: Electro Damage 1 Cost Echo: Def%

He is incredible, he's being my main atm. (Hypercarry DPS) Tips: - Always use your forte, the liberation can enable the super shock state again. - leaving the Electro Wood behind It's very easy way to fill his bar, also, after the second passive it's even easier - Jianxi is a very good support too - Always use a heavy attack after one combo of basic attack

If I may ask, since you're using him as DPS; Are you using the Thunder Void echo set? I know it may sound obvious, but I wanted to make sure nonetheless.

@@doedoel035 Ngl, I'm still experimenting with his build. For DPS: Void Thunder Main Echo: Tempest Mephis or Thundering Mephis Sub-DPS: Moonlit Clouds Bell-Borne Geochelone Echo Pattern: 44111 Stats: Def, Crit Damage, Crit Rate, etc. (not sure what else)

I got him all maxed out and tanking for my team at the moment. I build him two ways w dull Def / Atk for timed bosses. Absolute one punch man sometimes to shatter shields.

After the disappointing Jinhsi banner 50/50 loss i'm going Full On into whatever character duplicates are there Yuanwu, Chixia, Aalto, Yangyang I'm going to make them OP as Jinhsi now.

I don't think 4 star resonator can do 200k damage like Jinshi but they still will be strong

No 4 star can do as much nuke damage as jinhsi sucks you lost the 50/50 she’s meta right now bc of how fast she clears hologram and toa

@@pineappleproduction795 I don't have 80% crit rate and 270-280 crit DMG for my 4 star so I can't do 140k ulti with them 😅 Jinshi C6 can do 1kk so the power gap among five star and four star are real. Btw it's also really funny to play the game with 4 star because you have to build them correctly and play them rightly

Id like to build EVERY character, but for now im working towards having 3 solid teams, when i have more spare resources and less to do ill buikd every support character, because support characters in these games are where its at for a well rounded account :)

I use mainly male characters... I'm a "husbando main" I'm interested in this character because when I use calcharo I dont really do swap cancels so this resistance to interruption sounds nice, if i were to use Yuanwu solely for his resistance to interruption, I wonder if that could be good

You essentially deal offensive buff for defensive, while doing a bit less dmg (cuz for w/e reason his dmg at higher levels its actually not bad)

@@ed.g4711 he doesn’t only scale off defense if he is a support his stats should be 4 cost Main Crit with Imperneance Heron 3 cost electro dmg bonus on both 1 cost is defense Mainly look for defense, energy regen, crit rate/crit dmg, Atk and flat defense

Thoughts on a lingering tunes and void thunder combo echo set? With Mech Abomination as the main echo. Crit rate/Electro/electro/def/def. Idea with this is to play him alongside Jinshi for the coordinated attacks and shield. Or would 5 piece thunder still be better?

For jinhsi you only really swap into him to use his electro wedge and echo. You wanna use the healing gauntlets plus the rejuv set along side bell on his echo and then verina with full moonlight on highest ER/ATK% possible.

Same as mine, 5 piece of thunder isn't a must as you can get electro damage bonus as a main stat

If you wish to maximize his damage, lingering tunes is not good as it buffs attack% and Yuanwu scales on def. If you wish to use him with Jinhsi I recommend using him with rejuv set and Originite type 4 gauntlet just like the previous comment said. You miss a part of his forte. In infused state he have a new attack after heavy attack or perfect dodge attack, the elbow is followed by a slam called Thunderweaver. It deals 15.60%+10.40%*2 def damage. It should be included in his rotation as dps.

Thoughts on using him with Calcharo? It seems like most of his kit can be utilised to fully help you get the most out of Calcharo's kit but I haven't seen anyone touch on this.

His kit can be fully utilised by any dps. But he is just an okay sub dps option for most of the teams as he doesn't provide any damage buffs. He can be useful for breaking enemies faster. Now with the release of Jinhsi, he is the best partner for her after Yinlin, as Jinhsi needs support that can deal coordinated hits to fill her forte circuit. Yuanwu can have 100% uptime on it and is very easy to play with very little field time.

Marcato is also a great weapon choice as it provides much needed energy regen and concerto energy which lets you trigger his outro skill more often and break the white bar of enemies. If you want more damage from him and have enough energy regen from substats, you can consider switching his weapon.

I am also planning to build my C4 Yuanwu as a Shield support/breaker in my Calcharo and Yinlin team. Marcato with Moonlight set, 4s Bellborne, 3s Energy Regen (if I am lucky enough), 1s Def.
