This is among my favorite coffees! It is flavorful without the bitterness of some. Very aromatic coffee.

Yuban used to be 100% arabica Colombian grown coffee and was among the better coffees out there before the advent of Starbucks, and the hip coffee culture. Time flies, but it hasn't been what it started out as for many years....15? When they cheapened out, I could tell right away, the bitterness that was never there before. About this time, it would not surprise me to find that the company was bought/sold and the new folks figured to skate on the name. I bought it 1 time and that was it. It wasn't an off batch, it was a switch of beans. Who knows of a Colombian coffee that is great now a days? I can't find one.

No. Extremely flavorful, notes of chocolate, extremely pleasant smell and taste. HIGHLY recommended.

I can get 31 oz container for $7 at kroger when it goes on sale. 4x cheaper than these two paid 5 years ago. Makes it better than ‘fine’.

Yuban had changed its blend. I believe it changed owners, too. It used to have a rich heady chocolatey foretaste that would become a almost nutty with a hint of vanilla at the end. LOL! That's all gone. 😳 I only wish I could buy a canned coffee that was as good as the old Yuban. There is a roaster in town here that makes a great light roast coffee. BTW, light roast is the TITS!

I just looked it up and apparently Yuban is owned by Kraft which owns Maxwell House which is owned by another company that owns cigarette companies! It's crazy!!!

Awesome video! You guys are lively and fun. I agree on the coffee. As soon as I took the first sip I went and told my sister, "This coffee is bullcrap." And as I drank it, it slowly started to taste fine, but still bland and not as advertised. My sister says you guys are really cute. Awesome stuff. SUBSCRIBED! 😂😂😂

I still use Yuban on a regular basis. As others have said, it used to be absolutely great. It was 100% Columbian, but it has since become just blend like so many other cans in the store. Now it is as you said, decent and nonoffensive. It gets the job done for me as a night owl to then work in the morning. They do have a dark roast which has more of a bitterness to it. It also has a stronger "coffee" smell. However, it is harder find, and I usually prefer mediums (for many reasons).

Bought a can on sale, not like i remember , yuban is cheap, very shitty coffee nowadays, folgers is better....the best is costco 3lb can for $9 my favorite.

Yuban has been my daily coffee since before Kraft bought them. I pick it up at around $5/lb at my local HyVee. So they actually sell it at the same price as Maxwell House. This serves me well as a cheap coffee that still tastes like coffee. It also benefits from a slower drip to extract more flavors. That said, on the weekends I go with The Roastarie whole bean ground just right for whatever method I'm doing. I just don't enjoy sipping Yuban leasurly like I do my local roasts.

Yuban used to be the very best..about 20 years ago...Now? I dunno. Last time I tried it 10 years ago, I was not impressed a and wondered..what did you....do... If you want a coffee to review.. the original version of Folgers Colombian was sooo fantastic. Like you remember your grandmother perking. But I do Black and Decker One Cup drip machine. Can't buy one now, I bought several some time ago and still have one. HOWEVER, recently, only months ago in Arizona, don't know other areas, Folgers changed the label and LIED and said it was only the label. Oh no..the internet..and me..we are on fire about the lying about changing the coffee. Not even close to the same, not good, if you didn't know better from before, you might say ..'meh'..ok... but if you knew how it was in the original, you would be not only disappointed, but disgusted by the repeated replies from the company that they didn't change it. Google, read the reviews and see......... only the Colombian..the others have always been trash. Thanks for the reviews of normal everyday coffee.
