sometimes eternal favorite wont let me discard to fusion summon loving defender even though i control 'yubel' on field after going first on opponents turn. what am i missing

am i supposed to activate, then deny to use effect, then use effect. is it that i cant activate and use 2nd effection in the same activation window?

When u activate u can fusion...but remember, can't use tokens and the monsters must be on the field.

Skill drain is a serious problems for Yubel...in the mirror match u can use Gryphon
