This is my personal favorite duel in GX. Yubel being my favorite card in the game, I thought it was awesome that she was a villain. Also, seeing Jaden embrace his powers as the Supreme King was so epic!

I just noticed that Yubel could've set Zero Sprite when she got it (from Spell Chronicle), then used it on her summoned Yubel next turn rather than wait another turn, and she would've won. But she probably wanted to drag out the duel to use Super Polymerization. Likely, Neos Kluger or Neos Wiseman was Summoned as they represent both Neos (Jayden) and Yubel. TL; DR: Yubel fused with Neos.

Ngl, I first saw Yubel in JP version of GX. But seeing this dub, gotta admit that I don't mind giving a credit to the VA of this Yubel, as much as I still prefer the JP one at the most of aspects.

The direction for the English Dub is interesting in my opinion, the JP make Yubel to be gender neutral with a switching voice from male and female, while the EN make Yubel a boy in human and a girl in Monster form, they even did some changes in the Dub by making Yubel chest to be more breast-like. Ngl I really like this direction they were going for and I love Yubel female voice, it's so sinister.

I don't understand why after Yubel said she wanted to use Super Poly to fuse the 12 dimensions but then Jaden was acting like she didnt just tell him what she wanted to do with the card. From what I understand, it depends on which version you're watching. The sub refers to them with any pronouns while the dub kept them strictly female, even covering the other part of their chest to avoid confusion.

The final Trap card didn't literally need to be a Counter (Speed 3) Trap for it to work against Super Polymerization, but it had to be played after Chain Material in, well, a chain. Yubel would have to wait for it to resolve first before activating Super Polymerization then, and she couldn't activate Super Polymerization before to use cards outside of the Field for the Fusion as it doesn't permit any further activations in a Chain.

Sadly, this was a very boring duel. Jaden literally had an army of scrubs for half the duel, Yubel's deck was nerfed to give Jaden a chance which is why she ends up with a hand of 7 cards twice (writers had to brick her hand meanwhile Jaden is over here top decking the entire time), and then there's no actual conclusion to the duel since Jaden fused himself with Yubel. Lolwut
