To quote my fellow Iowan Andy Williams “it’s the most wonderful time of the year”. I tried Yuengling Oktoberfest last year and thought it was a middle of the road Oktoberfest as well. I would compare it to Leinenkugels. Good but nothing mind blowing. I think you will enjoy this years SN as it much like last years imo. Prost 🍻!

According to Yuengling's website, it's 5.5% and 14 ibu. I got a 6-er recently. Enjoyed it, starts off as a familiar Marzen but finishes more like their regular Amber lager. A little too dry or crisp for the style which made the perceived bitterness a lot more than the stated ibu count. It's a good beer, but for that price (or less) you can get better, including the real stuff from Germany. Cheers!

Thanks, Jay. I wonder why no Octoberfest beers don't get into Canada? Pumpkin beers yes, but Octoberfest no? That is strange, and it sucks.

@@wayneallen67 It is strange and it sucks, sounds like we are missing out on some great beers. I'm not sure if they get some in certain parts of Canada but in Cape Breton Nova Scotia nope!
