Please make a video with spektrum. I've got trouble getting telemetry with srxl2. And rescue functions. You really know this stuff. Spirit should endorse you.

hi. thnx for your videos. really helpful. I noticed that in your setup you first have a three position switch selecting bank. OK. Next you use a logical switch which performs an AND with your three position and your momentary. Correct me if I am wrong, but when the momentary switch is off you still can select the bank as before with the three position switch. But once you flip the momentary switch the logical switch becomes active and you select the bank associated with rescue. My question is: is this result independent of the position of the three position switch (it gives the same result whatever position the three position switch is in)?

Hello I saw the video and encountered a problem. Basically I am trying to create two options in the transmitter. In one switch I try to create an automatic rescue and in another switch I try to create a normal rescue mode that will ride on the automatic rescue, in the software it works but in practice the normal rescue does not work Apparently it has something to do with the mixer. I have a radiomaster tx16s I would love if you could share your setup including in the mixer Thanks in advance.

This works for me however on bank 0 with stabilization active the rescue has a small delay in activation. The other banks (no stabilization) rescue function is instant. Thoughts? Thanks for the great vids. Your doing great work!

That is interesting, I cannot think of a reason for that...what Spirit unit are you using so I can try and emulate/test?

Thank you so much for this, just in time as I'm learning Jeti's magic box right now and learning loads from your contents! I was wondering though, as I follow your tutorial, I can't find the logical switches? Is there another way around it or must I get that module for my DS12?

Ah, yes I was going to mention that you need the logic module....Let me think about a way around that...most likely can use free mixes to achieve the same

@@yufasa Now I have this configured, the other question is - Does your momentary switch need to be on for other Stabi functions to work also? If yes, then essentially you won't have access to stabi functions for bank 0 and 1 because everytime you turn on the momentary switch, it'll always be bank 2? Or have I missed something?

@@Inserico The way I show it here the momentary switch can be used in two ways. In the first part of the video the momentary switch will enable the Stabi function based on the bank selection. This is the mode you want to use if you want to keep the Stabi function active or you would use an override to keep the Stabi active for “normal” flying. This is useful when you are practicing orientations for instance - my other video goes into that somewhat. In the second part of the video the momentary switch will force the system into a specific bank and therefore a rescue mode. Note that you can set bank 0 to have stabilization active the whole time, and then when you activate the momentary switch it will switch to bank 1 or 2 so that rescue mode is now active. I tried to cover this very broadly in the video but understand there is a piece missing if you want the Stabi active all the time.

I guess I was hoping I could work out how to have different banks acting like flight modes but using the stabi functionality instead, e.g. - Bank 0: Rescue (Acro), normally disabled, but enabled with mmt switch - Bank 1: Stable (Normal), always enabled - Bank 2: Stable (Scale), always enabled - When mmt switch is enabled from any banks, Rescue Acro (Bank 0) will be enabled as my bailout Is the bank functionality not used like this? Or there's always a way? lol :) Anyway, thanks for everything you have covered, really learning loads from you and you only!!

How would you perform an override in an Ethos OS environment to override the Bank switch to enable Bank 2 (Rescue)?

To be honest, if you are running ethos you should probably use the rescue per channel option and not rely on banks. You can set up for example coaxial rescue on one switch and acro rescue on the momentary switch

Hello! I have Spirit RS + Jeti mezon 85 pro opto + Jeti DS 12 duplex. Questions: 1. When setting up Spirit RS telemetry - which company to choose ESC (jeti is missing). 2. Telemetry cable from ESC to which Spirit RS port should I plug it in? Your friend Maximo

since the RS has a built in receiver you will hook up the mezon telemetry to the E1 port on the Spirit and get the telemetry the usual Jeti way. Note this will not allow you to do Governor on the Spirit so you have to set up the Mezon to do that

@@yufasa Thank you so much for the information! I did it! In Spirit RS, I turned off telemetry altogether and just connected the telemetry cable from Mezon - JET DS 12 to the E1 port - I immediately saw all the settings and telemetry from Mezon. Happiness is with me today!

Oh, that would be fun...I have not done this for Jeti yet. Al my quads are on OpenTx. Let me see what I can put together. Note that the receivers are pretty big and this is mostly why I have not bothered

@@yufasa just created a new model on my Jeti radio. The bank switch is a 3 position switch the MMS is the rescue. I have checked this over and over. Something is staring me in the face I can't work out. I have created the logical switch exactly the same as yours. But when I apply the logical switch L1 in the function assignments then go to check it's working in the servo functions. The bank switch has stopped working. I know it's something I have done just can't find the solution. Could you please help

@@garyowen3743 Morning Gary, lets go over a checklist: 1) Three position switch is configured in the Spirit settings app to switch banks. This can easily be tested while connected to the settings app. 2) Momentary Switch is configured to operate recovery - note you DON’T want the gyro option here!. Again this is easy to test while in the settings app.(see minute 1:34). You want to make sure the switch is working the correct way around.

@@yufasa Thank you for taking the time to reply, It was the bank switch that needed reversing after clearing the switch, after playing around for a while I managed to re select the switch, it was +100 0 -100, I wanted -100 0 +100 on the 3 position switch, its all working now, thank you, any chance of a video setting up a heli on opentx radio master 16ts, everything seems drone related, I only now use Jeti and radio master and enjoy watching your videos
