More than anything I’m glad they’re giving chance to get the old holiday arcanum’s. Cross fingers for them including ice Tifa and ice aerith costumes in the next two weeks 🤞

Yeah I'm pretty sure you'll see both of them at some point 👌 especially since both of their weapons are already part of the event bonus

I have Diner Tray OB8 but no arcanum so this was a no brainer for me. Also, no wind Aerith. No regrets here as it took 8 pulls for costume and my first pull nabbed me her UW! Ended up with Holiday Bell at OB2. The build is fun as I don’t have the best OBs but she has over 7k Matk already. I’m eager to see her fully built out.

What? Her ultimate weapon does not affect others, just she starts with +4ATB which means 6 ATB since everyone starts with 2atb if i remember right, also it debuffs Pdef/Mdef which wont be useable in every fight.

@@CaponeToneTony They gave her that ultimate weapon so she can use her featured weapon 3x fast to reach the high debuff lol ...weird kind of balance....but if u combine that ultimate weapon with her ice setup where she debuffs ice once for high and then hits 2x with her main ice weapon now that is alot of dps.

The problem with this comes when the boss already has 4-5 bars of wind resist to chew threw. So will take a long time to actually break

Ahh yeah that is true, in that case you may have to bring an extra support like Aerith with OB6 floral wand or Red with Silver Collar

This is a nice banner! But like you, I will wait to see what the other banners are. A magic wind Vincent would be awesome. And a physical earth Cloud would be great also! My account lacks both these elements, so I will wait and see!

Cloud could definitely get a physical earth setup and even tho I have Yuffie's already but I would still probably draw. Whatever Vincent gets will probably be good for Guild battle like always 😂

Re: costume ‘I hear you like wind. So we put some wind on your wind’ 😂. With ob6 new weapon I was able to get her to tier 9 80 points 110% wind damage easily. With her other wind weapon in off hand and floral wand in the back. Rounded the build off with Tifa bahamut matk all weapon and powersoul for hp and tier 5 mag atbt pot. It sacrifices a full tier 7 mag abt pot because of the supercharged wind 💨 and matk all. And when the weapon gets upgraded to ob8 the boost matk will move from tier 6 to 7. Built this way. I only chased ob6 so I can clear out the event shop easy with 120% plus the old weapons in backside 🎉 I usually do that on the first weapon for seasonal events

Now I think they are gonna make cloud a magic wind too - with similar r ability 62 matk on main hand finished off boost matk in one weapon… so makes it so he can offhand apocalypse for boost atk and wind - and have a similar backend subs for more wind and mag abt pot

Very nice build! And yeah I'm really glad we can use old holiday weapons for the event bonus. Even without pulling on the banner I generally get around 200% give or take on the bonus in co-ops

For now ill save til clouds ultimate comes out and im sure it will pair with a 5star sephiroth bis wep just like bahamut cloud with sephs ultimate

I got the phys wind arcanum costume and for the sake of 15% wind potency damage I think I can hold onto the old one for now. Not gonna roll as I will pick up the weapon down the line, since I do build Yuffie, but it's just not worth the crystals for me at present. I do want that ultimate weapon for her but I'll wait and see what happens with other banners.

Yeah I feel that extra 15% wind potency makes it easier to hit level 8 on wind potency and could potentially have all 3 back weapons boosting atk, mag/phy ability potency and ability potency for both the physical and magic builds but pulling a full page is a decent crystal investment that could be better used elsewhere since you already have the original wind arcanum costume

Not pulling since i dont play her, I dont play all characters...also I dont like that her debuff weapon is not a 3 atb one and u have to use it 3x...12 atb for max wind debuff and Mdef and if a boss comes with wind element defence buff +5 or more u are going to hate this weapon. The costume is the next arcanum tier, I guess....I may go for the costume only if other chars dont get a wind arcanum during the winter event.

Yeah someone else made that point as well, for the 5+ tier wind resis enemies you'd still need to bring Aerith's OB6 floral wand or Red with Silver Collar. Mid to high at OB6 woulda been nice

Her costume is super cute but I'm surprised they continue to give double Arcanums to some characters. Also let's not forget the very underwhelming Christmas costume Zack got last year, he deserves a rehauling as well 😂
