Dear Aklilu, I am so glad you brought up this subject, I live in America but I have been hearing about this for a while, and it is very concerning. Eritreans should be aware of the situation and discuss how to best resolve this issue before it is too late, what happened in S. Africa could happen in Uganda. If things go bad they have a lot to lose because most of them are invested in real estate. Please offer this clip you made to be played in all the Eritrean establishments, restaurants bars, stores. President Museveni loves Eritreans but he is not going to live forever. Good luck my people and be smart.

Thanks Akile, I would definitely agree with their complaints because I would have felt the same if Ugandans or Ethiopians came to my country getting my job or jobs that can be done by Eritreans. What is the problem with Eritreans including me we forget that we are refugees. If we don't go as per the rule of the Ugandans and Ugandan government, it will be catastrophe like in south Africa, if we don't correct ourselves very soon. As you said Akile engagement is vital, unfortunately because of the dictator in Eritrea, engagement is not in our dictionary. Time is ticking so we better proactively work in engaging the government and people. Thanks for bringing this up. I hope we Eritreans learn and read the Ugandan society and government.
Regrettably, Mr. Aklilu, it's true that those comments from Ugandan citizens hold weight. I must respectfully acknowledge their observations. As Habeshas, we often display arrogance, disrespect, body-shaming, and racism. Having spent nearly nine months in Uganda and befriended many Ugandans who echo these sentiments, I find myself pondering why we don't emulate their humility and friendliness. Instead, we Eritreans tend to carry ourselves arrogantly, despite not possessing half of their admirable qualities.

We eritreans show arrogance against the the other People.we have a failed state under Esseyas Regime.we had achieved nothing, when we compare ourselves with the world.they live free under Ugandan constitution.but in Eritrea could not.most of them recieve every month from their siblings, who live in Europe and America. They don't go to school.i was one month last January in Uganda. My brother live in Uganda.we have paid for him 7000 dollar from Eritrea to Uganda.I and my brother have to send money every Month to him.we have recommended him to make driving licence and go English School. But he didn't want to do that.

Well said! I appreciate your wise words and I hope the Eritreans in Uganda and elsewhere heed them well! To my brothers and sisters, BejaKum LeBmu. Please don’t offend the welcomeness of this wonderful nation! I have also seen some disciplined Eritreans help clean up the areas where they were living! That’s admirable and should not stop! Thank you again our dear brother!!
Don’t worry Eritrean, some Ugandan hate foreigners specially for investors, make sure follow a safety protocol. Overall Ugandan people are sweet and respectful, wise and humble people so no worries. But your advice is important
