Nice review! I was once an Asus Zenfone owner. However, due to their slow and weak firmware updates, I switched to Xiaomi. They have great developers and timely firmware updates.

Actually, MT6750 is on par with snappy 435 for it perfomance and benchmark(even better), so bassically max plus m1 is new version of 4max pro with mtk chipset. Plus, this phone is having 4/64 config, 18:9 screen and face id unlock. However, in my Country, max plus M1 price is more cheap than 4 max pro.

Why all you guys have a problem with MediaTek? MediaTek processors are quite powerful. I have a cousin who has a smartphone powered by MT6750 processor, so far it is good at games like MOBILE LEGENDS, Rules of Survival etc. Paired with 4GB of RAM. It didn't cause any Lag ;)

I bought it last dec 2018 . and the charger port kept on messing up. I've been with 3 tech's to fix it . and now it isnt turning on . sometimes it is but suddenly shutted down . can someone explain to me . what is happening ? I got my my Max plus a few days ago and the truth is I really like the phone pics are great very fast software and very nice looks on the eyes and competits with the s9 and many other phones and price range is very good I'm impressed with the phone had an Asus before really liked that phone too

Guys dont buy this phone ,because i got this it overheating up to 44-47 degrees and when i play pubg or ros, its laggy. Tomorrow we will go to SM to fix this issue and say to them that i dont want that phone, its not enjoyable and request to them to change that phone to HONOR PLAY and add for the price for the honor play.

it's super durable though, I've been using mine for a long time without phone casing, and I've dropped it a lot of times when walking in the street and sometimes in staircase and i haven't seem a single crack on it

sorry but ill wait the asus zenfone 5 max. this unit is want to show 5.7" phone will be the standard in 2018 plus not to mention the oppo A83 . asus zenfone 5 max will run on sd 435 adreno 505 (same spec from my POS oppo a57 which i regret and not to buy oppo SERIOUSLY ) with decent camera, 5.7" FHD and OK quality build. but it came to be pricey too for that spec. i think...

Max plus with it's price it has 16 mega pixel plus and it is so satisfying. Max pro's 3gb/32gb version's cam has only 13 megapixel.. And pro is much expensive than plus. The only good thing with pro is it's processor but i had used mediatek and i didnt experienced any lag. And it is smooth. Lag of online games depends on the internet connection signal u have. People just discriminating brand names. Dont belive their shitty knowledge about processors.

Its not a battery king. Asus claims that max plus with 4130mAh stand by time for 26 days While, 4 max lite with 4100mAh 37 days Zen max 4000mAh in 41 days. The max plus is not a batt king.

lots of phones struggle from low light photography, the physical size of the sensor is something that holds mobile devices back, this is where software comes into play. I usually just switch to manual and slow down the shutter speed and raise the ISO to find a balance in clarity and noise

True and it blurs a lot too. Also theres often a long delay in the shutter that ruins photos with 3 second delay. Thats just unacceptable.
