I recently got back into Yu-Gi-Oh after throwing away all my cards years ago, and what I really like about this Structure Deck, if you get 3 copies of it, you can make 2 Deck, 1 focues on Albaz, and the other can focus on Red-Eyes/Chaos Dragon/Light & Dark. For about $30-$50 (If you also get the Albaz Theme Sleeves) it makes a pre-cursor for me to get back into it. (For casual fun this time around, and not being competitive). Now luckly I have 3 copies of Legend of the Crystals Structure Deck, and have Blossom, and that Ghost Yokai that are all the rage these day's. So now I will have about 3 different decks I can play with: Crystal Beasts, Albaz/Hand Traps and Chaos/Hand Traps, and card sleeves All for less than $100 to get me back into Yugioh. (I'm set for this year, and will now just buy Structure Decks to play for fun. As for that Dark World one coming in Decemeber, I'm not getting it, just wasn't really into the theme in comparison to Albaz, I also almost got that Ice Barrier Deck, but after looking into how the deck works....Albaz had more value to it, the Fusion aspect was more in line with memories of old school Yugioh.

I've been thinking a lot about this deck (since i got my 3x structure) and i think committing heavily to going second is the correct thing since some of the most crucial cards in the deck (like fallen of albaz) are going second cards. By extension, i am not playing scythe lock and i'm playing kaijus in main. Most of the board is going first cards.

Use Branded Sword, there's a combo where you use Branded Fusion, send Mercourier + Albaz to make Lubellion, Then fuse into Albion with Lubellion's effect, then use Albion's effect to banish your Mercourier, that will trigger, searching for Shroud, then you activate Shroud, sending Branded Sword from the deck to Draw 1, then activate Branded Sword from the Grave adding Mercourier back from banish Depending on your hand you can end with 3 fusions, 1 Mercourier + 1 extra card in your hand

Fusion Deployment, which is in Cyber Strike, is also a very strong card for the deck when going second. Dark Ruler no More + Fallen of Albaz is a strong board-breaker and Fusion Deployment allows you to special Albaz from Deck. You'll want Fusion Monsters like Starving Venom Fusion Dragon and Predaplant Dragostapelia to best monopolise on that. Do note that this makes Pot of Extravagance riskier, since it'd mean running more one-of Fusion monsters or reducing some of your 3-of Fusions. IIf you're running the deck in this video, I'd personaly run Dark Ruler no More and Fusion Deployment in the Side Deck. Replacing the 3 Dark Ruler no More in the Main Deck with the 3 Infinite Impermanence. EDIT: I also personally find that Branded Sword offers a little more value than Judgement of the Branded since the GY effect allows you to recycle Banished Monsters, such as Tri-Brigade Mercourier or Springans Kitt. The main effect is complete ass, but it's a good discard for Keeper of Dragon Magic or you can send it to the GY via Albion the Shrouded Dragon. Judgement of the Branded feels a little too slow and the only targets you'll have are 2500+ ATK; the latter of which really hurts the range of monsters you'll pop. YMMV of course.

@@flippstarx Not at all! Using only cards from both Albaz Strike and Cyber Strike: 3x There Can be Only One 3x Dark Ruler no More 3x Fusion Deployment Those three are pretty mandatory, imo. There Can be Only One can be a very strong one-sided floodgate when going first with Branded, since you don't usually end on a board with multiple Monsters of the same type. If your end-board + hand has enough distruption, you'll easily be able to OTK on the following turn. The only downside is that there are decks that don't have to worry about it. You just need to remember that it will stop you from summoning a second Albion or a Lubellion on your next turn if you end with an Albion on board. It also would mean no specialing Albaz off of Sprind/Titaniklad/Brigrand if you send one of those 3 for Mirrorjade's effect. Dark Ruler no More turns off all your opponent's Monster effects, at the cost of them not taking damage for the rest of the turn. This allows for a very strong turn one when going second when comboed with Albaz's Super Poly effect, turning at least one of your opponent's monsters into one of your Fusions. Since your opponent will have an Extra Deck monster 99% of the time, you can go straight into Mirrorjade to Banish another big threat on their board. You can then proceed to dismantle the rest of their board by attacking over things and then set up your own board of disruption. Fusion deployment, as mentioned in my previous reply, is a very easy way to cheat Albaz out of the Deck when going second without using your Normal Summon (making it easier to follow up with something like Keeper of Dragon Magic. You'll essentially be at 6 copies of Albaz to hopefully combo with Dark Ruler no More. Even better, Keeper of Dragon Magic can search it since it's a Normal Spell with the word "Fusion" in its name. After those three, the rest are dependant on what you think would benefit the deck the most. An easy option would be 3x Thunder King, the Lightningstrike Kaiju 3x Radian, the Multidimensional Kaiju They're Light and Dark, respectively; special summon themselves by tributing a monster your opponent controls; and, if you open both of them, you can give your opponent the weaker Kaiju (Radian) which allows you to special summon a Kaiju of your own hHopefully Thunder King), which can then be used as Fusion material or just a big body on-board.

Monarchs and Salamangreat were the best when they released, buying 3 and spending less than 10 dollars on additional cards gave you a tournament ready deck. This one is also really good and has a lot of great reprints, but you aren't winning tournaments without extra money cards. The TCG also screwed us over by excluding Ice Dragon Prison.
