Fuma effect for Kizaru to bring out Irou, Enishi or Zanji for rank 4 plays (granted Fuma needs to be special summoned otherwise it's slow). Cunning Fuma for the above combo to bring out an extra monster (from GY) for Links or XYZ (or even Synchros).

Why does nobody run Great Shogun Shien? I understand he can be a brick in your hand but isnt the whole point of the deck to swarm the field? and with both Shiens on the field that basically stops your opponents from activating m/t. Im just curious why.

they can successfully play 1 s/t per turn. So if you negate 1 with shi en they can still play another. He can help swarm but sucks hes not a six samurai so you cant destroy him instead of shi en and the secret six samurai cant save him either. Essentially hes just a 2500 atk monster in which case your better off bringing out shadow six samurai shien instead who actually has a more useful effect and gives counters to gateway ,united and dojo

So because you negate the m/t with Shi En they can keep activating more even though Shogun is out? I though it kinda make like a lock. Shogun makes them only activate 1 m/t and Shi En negates it so they are done for the turn.

At 2:30 you made a little mistake by saying that the Secret six Sam's secondary effects protect six samurai monsters from battle or card effect. They only protect from card effect. Would of been nice if it was both. But nice deck profile anyways.

Backs to the wall is a rather risky move since it just puts you at risk for burn damage if all you have is 100LP. Cunning and Secret Arts are also a little janky since the deck is built largely off of combo plays, though if you can get the tougher monsters destroyed, you can always use your lower leveled monsters in their revival, but that is still preparing for failure when you should be going for the jugular all the time.Musukani Magatama or even Battleguard Howling would be good good replacements since it reduces the chances that your opponent can use a spell/trap card to destroy monsters, or even from monster effects if you use it in conjunction with Synchro Shien. Having a good number of Secret Sams in the grave is never a bad thing either for the mid to late game when lots of cards nowadays have targetting effects too. Sadly, the secret sams never did receive the spell/trap support necessary to make it more viable.

Yo! What do you think of True Draco/Kings (Diagram, Mariamne) with Six Sams? Im trying to build an Six Sam as pure as possible (because they're BAE) but thinking about a litte True Draco/King engine.

Noxezable Do it. Not tomorrow, not at lunchtime, do it now. Set up the hand with 2 Fuma and Mariamne...since Fuma doesn't have to be on the board to get its effect, it's an IF effect, and it's NOT once per turn. Now you have Mariamne and 2 Six Samurais not named Fuma on the field, meaning you could actually Synchro as well. Also Shiens Advisor should ALWAYS be your ROTA target, because then, going against Trickstars, you normal him and declare "Fairy", Pen Magicians "Spellcaster", etc.

I will be frank: Link summon is amazing since it could replace Xyz (Annoying from the moment their material are gone and pendulum in graveyard just suck), but the new rules disrupt all my plays. So I'm happy that I still have this "legal" option left 😄

digiing1992 Random Rant Incoming: I actually don’t like Links as much as fusions Synchros and xyzs and other summoning methods because Links are way to generic and easy to summon imo. Fusions use specific types of monsters, Synchros had to have the right levels, Xyzs had to have monsters with the same level. They all kinda had their own checks to them too. Most fusions require a fusion spell as well as certain material. Synchros generally had the most powerful effects but were the hardest to summon. Xyzs were easy to summon but generally had weaker effects and limited use. Links are even easier to summon than Xyzs, with some of the most powerful ones using just 2+ monsters or 3+ effect monsters and some being able to be abused by Tokens. So they’re the easiest extra deck monsters to summon and their effects are already very strong. There’s that and Master Rule 4 just adds insult to injury forcing certain decks (mostly casual/fun/low tier decks) that didn’t need links in MR3 to play them to function at a fraction of the power they had before........ rant done......

Jo-Smooth I get your point and agree to that 😄 Even though I say "annoying" I have to admit that the feeling of satisfaction when I successfully pulled off my Xyz combos was great, but as said Pendulums in the grave suck and limited eff ability. When I saw Link Monster the 1st time I thought it could "That could work well with Xyz!", but then I noticed the new extra deck rule 😅 I cried when they came out and killed my Accel-Synchro combos, where I put all my brain into to get all of them out on the field be it normal accel or delta accel.

Mario Rivera No, there aren't any Light attribute Six Samurais that would generate more card advantage off of being sent from deck to graveyard. The True King engine however, that's beautiful. Picture setting up your hand with 2 Fuma and her...what do you get? 3 monsters on the field and your opponent's top 4 cards of their deck get b-b-b-b-banished!

Ian Downie you don’t necessarily need the toon engine though. Honestly to take it a step further on top of not needing it, in order to run it optimally you need to run a dead card which sucks in my personal opinion

chris rosas I've been playing Magibullets ever since they were announced, I've tried many different builds. My most consistent and best build used the toon engine. And toon world doesn't have to be a dead card, yeah it sucks if you open it, but people play possibly dead cards all the time such as Garnet in brillFusion engine. The toon engine just allows you to extend your combos or start your combos.

From the Shadows Emerges... Actually if you get it in your starting hand I think I've found a way to make it work. You'd need 2 cards that hold bushido counters, kageki and any lv3 six sam. -Activate both spells -Summon kageki and other six sam -Go into x saber invoker and special kizaru + search any -Use left arm offering and activate gateway -Remove 4 counters already on field to search kizan -Infinite kizan loop now active
