Sleeping on evil eye bro, all these new fiend supports, or even just with unchained makes a pretty decent board, and all that for very cheap. Also the deck having a small engine and alot of onecard combos, allowing it to be build in many different ways, i came to master rank in md with evileye unchained, with no handtraps just boardbreakers and engine, but its also possible to go pure evileye with alot of handtraps. This deck can be very various and can play through nib consistently(like other good decks) so should be deffinetly on the list!

Ragnaraika is one of those decks that's all set to be top tier. But like Beetrooper and Ogdoadic before it, it'll likely not get the 1 or 2 key pieces needed to boost it above rogue. It combos well with both though. And yes, in my opinion Beetroopers and Ogdoadic both were so close to being busted. That said, it still seems decent and may become a high tier threat when we experiment a bit more with the tri types.

@@stealthylion9653 Yes and no. It needs a bit more of an end board (the tri type it supports doesn't have amazing endboard presence) and maybe a few extra starters/extenders. But it is pretty close and, through experimentation, we can fix some of the flaws.

It has a quick play to search in draw phase, plenty of non engine space, triggers off destruction regardless of grave so shifter deck, quickplay monster negate that boost attack that can later be banished to end the bp when tenoai is meta, built in grave hate and a raigeki that banishes and puts up otk.... its kinda legit and you might die if you pass to this deck. It is getting free access to Dragoon off dm card and a snatch steal off summon skull. Its solid especially for the cost and nostalgia factor.

I think a branded buster blade can out skill your opponent. Branded as a monster takes an albaz and one plus dragon monster to fusion but the buster blade engine can make all your opponents monsters dragons.

Swordsoul is the only deck besides floo that i have left since i stopped playing for a while now. I have rescue ace but im missing some ed monsters. I just need a protos and swallows crowie and both decks will be finished. Flunder is also very cheap and pretty good now with crowie. It can chain dodge most handtraps, sucks to get hit with nib but still.

Bro i think you underrate Memento, the Support from LEDE was big, more utility, more search Power, a ton of space for handtraps or other non engine.....great OTK Potential and nice Options going First.... Sure the Boards are Not unbreakable, but very unique

The Goblin Biker core’s best feature is it’s compact nature, the full core is 9-10 cards in the main and 2 in the extra, pure Goblin Bikers is full combo so long as you’re able to get 2 monsters on the field, and even better if you already have a Goblin somewhere like with Tour Guide getting Mean Merciless from the deck, or with the Terrortop engine and a Dugg Charger in hand, both of those ways are full combo + Either way, because you’re also able to use a lot of Ghost Girl handtraps since they’re 2 card starters if you draw Kagemucha Knight (or ROTA) or one of the Psychics (E-Tele included), it’s honestly a lot more consistent than you’d think for a deck that plays 15 handtraps, it means that even if you’re drolled or Nibbed, you can still have 2-3 hand interruptions to stop your opponent, who is now 1-2 cards poorer in the hand And, btw, UDF pass is not the gameplan, that shit sucks ass, we’re all about that double schlorp gameplay with Big Gabonga and Dark Knight Lancer

Don’t use the sunavalon stuff!!! You don’t need a single main deck plant monster outside of rosewhip lonefire and the rails evil seed to pull off full plant combos. Just a snake rain gets you into strenna, aromaserphy jasmine, and hyperiton while also letting you go through the whole combo of raika

Hey Cali, I'm a long time fan of your content and I love videos like this that make the game more accessible. I like your breakdowns for specific decks, but I also think it would be cool if you had a "deck doctor" video where players could submit decklists and have you fix them. This way, players get a better understanding of how their decks are supposed to work and the role each card plays in their deck.

@@stealthylion9653 so the set up is usually beast, sunflower and mole cricket, so you can negate a couple monster effects as well. You send the stink bug when you cricket into Camellia during their turn so when they summon they can’t run over your negates. Then the link stuff does the popping

Yeah...I'm just gonna keep shutting off 1/3 of a person's deck and their monster effects on summon or even attacking with my Altergeist deck. In case you're wondering "How?", just play Secret Sanctuary of the Spellcasters with secret village up and any of your Altergeist, preferably with protocal either set or already face up. Only reason you lose is if you don't see the right cards or get forced into playing second.

There is another version of thundra that worked like a pile deck using chaos, bystial, and Horus (I call it bytch). And that deck has legs, but I think the issue of it comes from just having way to many moving parts and not enough room for non engine. Though at the same time thundra is so good at naturally going second that it doesn’t really matter

I'd say lightsworn is actually a top budget. I went toe to toe with snake-eye variants with tearlaments lightsworn (with and optional small horus package) twice and won both times. And the horus package is really truly optional its there mostly to get zombie vampire for extra mills. And tear is pretty cheap. I didnt have the feild spell and still cooked.

Realistically all Virtual World needs is a Gate Continuous spell thats kinda like Crimson Gaia and maybe a boss monster to help it as a xyz and synchro deck to not get curb stomped by Nibiru and if or when it does get a Continuous spell Gate card you'll be able to send Chou Chou and Nyannyan from grave a lot quicker and easier. Just 2 really good cards that look like custom cards and they are instantly a meta level Yugioh deck. The only thing they are missing is consistency and a powerful bomb to bring it all together.

They really need a new spell like Tenki or one of the Planets. Continuous or Field Spell that adds a VW monster plus some random effect in the GY to keep it thematic with the other S/T cards in the archetype.

If they'll give them a Gate continuous spell that stays in theme by giving it a grave effect while making it as Virtual Worlds own version Crimson Gaia meaning its search effect would be once per turn so long as its on the field and they got a card on the same lv. as Goblin Biker Bighead Gabonga it would be all the deck would ever need. Another gate continuous spell would make sending Chouchou and Nyannyan to grave easy enough. There's already plenty of negates in generic rank 3s to stop Nibiru so we can end on more than just Shenshen. 2 cards of this lv. will boost it to tier 1.5 or tier 1 and it will no longer be a rouge deck. This is the easiest way for Konami to make it competitive enough that they won't have to give support for a few years. If you've seen the trend with a lot of archetypes you know that after they quit supporting its years before get support. So the answer is to give them good enough support that they'll feel timelessly good. This would Konami a lot of time to dedicate themselves to making new archetypes and supporting older ones. I just hope Konami sees my idea. With all the new archetypes coming to the game its taking way to long for older decks to get new support that makes them relevant again.

I think Scareclaw is better than people give credit for because the lv.3s give you access to Bamboozling Shadow and Cicada King and you can perform the Visas Samsara 1 card combo to make Diabolantis to send Lily Borea to grave or make Visas Samsara for Reframing. Visas Samsara is probably better because you can make Photon Lord after using Reframing. You can also make Photon Lord instead of Sargas the first time round and make Sargas later. Scareclaw only has 2 link monsters so you do have up to 11 or 12 spaces to dedicate to everything else. I also put Terrortop in the deck. Now that Baronne is gone our best lv.10 Synchro is Chengying meaning that we don't need Visas Starfrost to play Scareclaw anymore.

Yeah I was having fun playtesting the new Centurion support and people might call me a scumbag after Calamity locking Lightsworn. But I did it because I knew that it takes 3 turns for Centurion to get all 3 of its negates and I knew that what I was facing I couldn't beat it without it because they had the battle phase and the out I opened wasn't good enough. But I did what I did because I wasn't gonna be high-rolled to death and especially not by someone who uses his username to insult everyone by saying that they won idiot. I was playing online and my opponent was so toxic that that was his username.

Goblin Biker is better than you think. All they need is Terrortop to come completely off the list and for maybe 1 more easy to use 1 card combo because you can make Ashura King before getting hit by Nibiru to stop Nibiru and you have cards like Cicada King to pair with strategy for additional negates. If get past the initial stage of using cards from outside the archetype you will eventually xyz materials to make plays. Ashura King is a way better negate for Nibiru than Draco Future because if you get hit by Nibiru you can still use Ghostrick Shot. But it'll cost a extra extra deck space and a additional 2 monsters. Which makes the total cost of Draco Future 4 materials out of which 2 of them could have made something else and Ashura King only costs a minimum of 3 materials and doesn't have to deal with any of that crap because it plays around Nibiru instead of through it. I know people are salty because they don't want to have to heavily rely on the generic cards but you have to give credit where credit is due. Goblin Biker is just this close to being the 2nd best borderline deck to being a tier 1 strategy on par with Branded or better because it can use S:P and Branded has to pick between Branded Fusion or everything else. 1 more 1 card combo and Goblin Biker plays through up to 2 hand traps because of Terrortop already giving you 1 1 card combo and Dug+Grand Bash and Mean Merciless being the 2 card combos that they are. People may say that we have Tour Guide but that isn't 1 card starter we need to bring the deck out of the rouge zone. We need something more convenient that doesn't require us to already have Grand Bash to use Terrortop and Mean Merciless to play around 2 hand traps. It isn't convenient at all because your hand would have to be 1 Terrortop, 1 Mean Merciless + another Goblin Biker monster, 1 Grand Bash, and 1 Tour Guide. Thats the whole hand excluding your 6th card. Which is unacceptable because most modern Yugioh play through 2 or 3 hand traps and ends with your hand having at least 2 cards in it in addition to the deck potentially having some recovery effects. The deck needs more cards that allow you the potential to have a good end board and be able to end the turn with cards left in hand for the next turn.

Dinomorphia is way worse than people think. Ive played it for a while now, and even tho it seems strong on paper, every decent deck has plenty outs to rexterm, both in engine and not. Im now trying a melodious version, just for the fact that you can afford some bricks and you can play the 1st movement solos, but i just started building it so idk if it will work

Nah man, Ragnaraika with Traptrix is competitive. I watched regional players go at it, one with Yubel and new legacy of destruction support and other was the ragnaraika with Traptrix. Match was literally saved for the Yubel player by his third turn draw. Awesome matchup to watch and got to say that you ain't just playing with ragnaraika, you competing.
