Amazing collection! I would recommend putting them all in toploaders, then put them all in a top loader binder that zips up around the sides. Little bit more expensive as a display/storage option but unmatched in terms of quality storage/presentation and long-term card safety. Keep up the great collecting!

I dig the collection. But I’d argue that it’s more of a “cool art card” or “nostalgia” collection binder rather then an investment binder. Just cause of how many of your cards are not 1st Edition. You should ALWAYS invest money into 1st Edition over anything. They are not only waaay more valuable but theyre almost guaranteed to hold they’re value as well as hold they’re value for way longer. If I were you I would def consider purchasing exclusively 1st Edition cards from here on out if your actually trying to make these cards an investment.

@@believesf2977 that is so false and not a fun fact. this is based on market, not a single persons opinion on how it should be done. people pay more for first edition. this counts for every time there is an unlimited printing. the only reason why older cards are more popular for 1st ed is because they are iconic cards with authenticity, and are harder to get, and they dont get printed anymore on top of that, meaning they are vintage valued high demand cards. it has nothing to do with sets being massively printed or just being older alone. that would completely contradict all reasoning for collecting. why would you collect just because something is old? that shows no value... people give value based on their demand, thats how a market works. its supply is only worth the demand people give for the product itself, and only in terms of the primary market seller and distributing, not in terms of secondary market. supply has nothing to do set wise outside of konami selling product. the only "supply" you could worry about is the rate a card is pulled at, which if 1st ed as well includes the fact all forms of 1st eds eventually become difficult to obtain, further increasing the demand which increases the value of a card, thus contradicting the supply and unlimited over 1st ed argument. if you really wanted the most value out of your investment, an original printing of especially hard to get chase cards, that are first edition, are always more money than more recent reprints, UNLESS, those reprints are way more difficult or just as difficult to achieve... it has nothing to do with how much a set is printed... that makes absolutely no sense... by your _illogic_ , a modern day set with a card that has a ratio of 1 pull IN 2 CASES of booster boxes, is WAY less valuable than a random common from fricking first edition LOB... just because the modern day set is mass produced as a latest obtainable product, while lob is the oldest with no more printing... thats insane illogic...

Awesome collection very similar to the collection I used to have a few years ago going after a lot of the same sort of stuff but I was more in favour of a lot of the dark monsters and dark supporting spell cards I was a really big fan of that so I’ve had dark magician red eyes black dragon jinzo dark magic curtains Inferno fire blast all ultra if not better. Even things like ultimate rare allure of darkness. Dark supporting spells and traps. I basically had a complete Phantom of chaos set. Even ultimate rare zombie master it was in horrible condition but it looks really good. Even a playset of three gold ultra rare doomkaliber knight.

I bought a monster binder recently similar to yours and started filling it up with cards, but it won't stay flat like yours. There's a huge bulge that sticks up between the 1st and 2nd columns and I'm not sure how to flatten it. Would be great if you have any advice/tips for that. I'm just going to level with you. Most the cards in your binder will maybe go up a few bucks every now and then but they're not investments. An unlimited lob card will never be thousands of dollars. Too much was printed and too much was reprinted to where even if the og unlimited prints start breaking away a little more, they're always going to be held down by population of graded and alternatives like reprints and just flat out supply. Cards that have the potential to jump thousands of dollars are usually very low pop cards that people just haven't caught onto yet and then every goes to buy them and they're just not available. The minute unlimited prices go up everyone is going to flood the market with them over and over and there will always be downward pressure on the prices. I get the thinking behind unlimited og print. You're thinking it's like a second 1st edition print. But it's not. They printed too much of it.
