if you play Bond Between Teacher and Student combined with Dark Magic Twin Burst, it gives an extra reason to run Dark Magician Girl since it can bust up a Dark Magician 8,500 ATK and and if any of those DMG are on field they or any other monster can still attack, it does not limit the DM to be the only attacker.

Not only that, but any attack boosts that Dark Magician Girl gains, including those from both Kiwi Magician Girl and Dark Magicians (including Dragon Knight and Magician of Chaos) and Magician of Black Chaos in the GY stack on top of that. So you could get a lot more attack onto Dark Magician than just all 3 DMG's base attack.

@MasterSwagKing That depends on the situation to be honest. Personally for me, I've been running Future Fusion in a DMG/DM/Magician Girl's hybrid deck that also runs 2 Palladium Oracle Mana and the new DMG support cards that is quite fun to play. Even if Future Fusion isn't allowed to Fusion Summon Quintet due to being destroyed early or having its effect negated, so long as I have passed one standby phase, I'm milling 5 spellcasters from my deck into the GY. At least 4 of those are usually Magician's Rod, Dark Magician Girl, Dark Magician and Palladium Oracle Mana. The last one is a Magician Girl, and I'll tend to substitute the others for Magician Girls if I don't have anymore in the deck. Sure, sometimes the opponent might stop Future Fusion before that, and Magicalize is much easier to summon Quintet. But that's a lot of GY setup that I can use at my disposal for several key and support cards in the deck. Ideally you could run both, so if Future Fusion does fail you can just use the materials you just dumped anyway.

That guy is banned from Locals in Japan because he was way too damn good. In fact he played non-meta decks and won again top tier meta decks. He just knew every deck’s ups and down. @@alecsedate4379 In a vacuum sure, in reality monster effects currently dominate the game so Secret Village isn't going to do much against the current crop of meta decks not named Sky Strikers. Secret Village can also be another brick and is useless if you don't win the dice roll, 2 problems Dark Magician already has on it's own.

If you didnt know, eye of T is a spellbook card and is searchable thru spellbook engine. Side deck palladium in case of max dragon. Plus those link 2 spellcasters are super nice. Splendid and the other that allows you to normal summon a DM without tribute. Amulet dragon is a instant win against Sky strikers.

If you only have Magician of Dark Illusion on field and a dark magician on the GY, you can use bonds to summon DMG set dark burning magic then activate MoDI effect to summon dm from the GY.

One suggestion, on the how to use the deck, you might want to slow down a little, as you were talking so fast and a new player, not familiar with all the jargon, might find it difficult to follow along. That would be exceptionally difficult to go into. Youd have to go into a dragon synchro when you don't run any tuners at the moment. Then you'd need to also add warriors.

I have a few questions since i am a relatively new player (returning player from OG days) I feel like you can run magician of chaos and illusion magician along side at least 1 or 2 pot of desires and a spell book engine since the Illusion magician can cast them from GY at no cost not to mention alot of dark magician cards care about the number of spells being cast or activated per turn so wouldnt the spellbook engine actually be better than just a few pots..? why not go 50 or 60 cards to increase number of spells while adding in magician of chaos and illusion magician? Secondly, why do dark magician decks run more control traps since they have synergy with the spell and trap activation's..? I never see this type of build with dark magician.

Man people stay sleep on mahad oracle palladium. That's an instant summon with 5k Atk to dark monsters plus a dark magician on Mahad's destruction, and even if you open it, you can discard it with apprentice effect, or even summon it magical dimension
