15:43 unfortunately for the targeting protection if you use it as a chain link 2 where the chain link 1 is a targeting card like imperm the target is still applied. This is because it has been already selected the target. I noticed this kind of problem with the muddragon that has a similar protection.

Just don't use old reign beaux use king of the swamp or even the synchro mud dragon. It's easy to get out with the earth bound support and vision resignator. Plus I just see colorless as a back up option if you need to beat over something and end the game

Zealantis can be really nice to summon back gen and ken and ceruli to your own field if they are in the opponent's, as well as resummoning millenium-eyes restrict to bypass the end phase destruction of instant fusion

I think tour guide into special another and build gossip shadow is the best anti droll strategy because in this case there only is one tour guide left in the deck, while with koaki there are two mores in the deck which means you’ll probably get one out of your important draws. Moreover tour guide is a dark fiend. Lastly I would highly recommend branded in high spirits with Albion the shrouded dragon and masquerade instead of 1-2 copies of dangers and Katalyzer. This is because you can decide which card to discard and reduce the random factor within. Moreover, you have a guaranteed fiend (masquerade) in grave, so hard drawing the gates ist not that problematic. Fun fact: branded in high spirits also is an anti droll strategy cuz you can resolve it in draw phase often

So the issue with tourguide is it gets hit with every other HT imperm, veiler, Ash so the consistency is quite tough. The multiple copies of Guardian aren't that bad as if you draw them you can leave the 1st guardian on the board for another negate and your normal summon of the next turn can be a negate to protect your rebuild if you need it. High spirits is an interesting take, may need to look at it, only issue is playing the additonal brick of the albion but I guess you search it, you send another copie of High spirits, draw 1 and deck thin which could be kwl.

I tried the Alpha beast today in my local.. and the card was kinda fitting.. even going first.. if you resolve gen for ken, it gets live in the hand for an extra lvl 8 on the field. I played with trade-in so that was a good target to. And when u go second.. special it.. and if u got ur bigfoot, thunderbird or jackolope on the field u can bounce all of them and use them again.. looked pretty strong

Interesting list. I've been thinking of adding vision resonator to have access to barron de fleur. It just happened to be the perfect one for the deck. Dark fiend level 2 tuner that can special summon itself easily. Also i really wanted those oversleeves but they are out of stock.

Nice list, lots of food for thought. With Lava Golem taking up your normal summon, do you side out Koa'ki Meiru Guardian or are you hoping that the Lava Golem is a good enough board break?

Yeah as mentioned in the side deck section, if your putting in lava you would take out koa'ki, that can be risky as if you give Lava you need to make sure you get rid of it and you still struggle against droll, however its rare that in G2 or G3 you go second, so risk it imo if they have droll so be in, and you just scoop early go to G3 and put in all your control cards so if you do get drolled you stop your opp playing.

For alternatives in the extra deck you have already expressed an opinion, so I wanted to ask you what you recommend putting in as an alternative to expensive cards like the second Corridor and Thrust. In this regard, in a local environment of Fire King, Branded, Swrodsoul, Red Dragon Archfiends etc... how should the side slots dedicated to Thrust and its targets be managed? 🙏🏼

Assuming the build is exactly the same I'd say you can play a 2nd talents if you wish, then you could play a 3rd allure or another danger (chupacabra) In regards to the side deck I would max out on the thrust targets that are most effective for what your going to face, drnm and evenly off of the examples you provided.

Gryphon is good no doubt just havent found the space for the stratergy I play, useally im making apollo to keep having protection on the board early before going into grepha, but you can easily put gryphon in a play that route more.

I see people talking about it and it seems really really good, just takes alot of guys to Make lol, I'm just getting back into yugz after a long hiatus and dw is my shit, so I'm looking into like every possible route/build/tech I can find to be as mean as possible lol, one other thing m, have u seen the zelantis combo with muckraker where u make muk, lock into fiends then make zelantis to banish all monsters then they get nothing back unless they had fiends? It's hilarious, not sure if it's practical but seems really strong if it goes off

How would a chain resolve with Colorless being summoned and a effect negate like imperm or effect veiler is activated on summon and u chain the target protection? I think it would fail bc its already been targeted ? - Doesnt Millennium Eyes Restrict need one Relinquished to be summoned with instant fusion? - And what do you think about Dark Law with Mask Change 2 or abyss dweller in current format?

Instant fusion dosent need a material it just specials any level 1-5 fusion from the extra. Mask change is a cool tech but it's more a win more option as it dosent trigger your dw as the discard is cost. Dweller is OK this format but does little against the main decks

Its just the best defensive option you have that could buy you a turn to then crack back after droll.

I might be blind but nobody yet mentioned that during the combo you should have targeted ceruli and not reign beaux with muckraker which gives you potentially ceruly back in the hand therefore you do the same action but when searching with reign you can either search old reign or sillva since you would have already 4 other cards in hand allowing you to throw a -2 already in your turn

Yeah good point, you could even go further than that. Summon back ceruli - add it back to hand for reign and Grepha. Activate acession ditch ceruli banish grepha. Ceruli summon ditch Reign Reign search og Reign and summon, even the 2nd ceruli or snow from deck making your opp ditch one. Then you either bounce snowe to ditch and get another search to reset accession, or bounce ceruli back for reign, ditch ceruli for acession, give opp a 2nd ceruli ditch OG Reign and clear off the 2 ceruli you gave them.

Target protection is not meant to protect, it's just an effect that you can always activate to discard a Dark World and disrupt your opponent. The targetting part of the effect is irrelevant. Should have been the new Reignbeaux, I bought one but I don't think it has place in DW right now.

Depnds how you look at colourless, yeah its not ideal and could be better but it does compliment the grepha fusion and the deck well as you now have really strong fusions for going 1st or 2nd which is nice all you need to do is get to OG reign and accession and your in a good spot to trigger discard effets chain blocking the board nuke of colourless.

I feel like there must be some way to integrated d shifter into dark world to completely ruin the opponent. So many decks now favor cards in the grave so it makes hand loops less useful

The hand loop puts the cards back into deck, it dosent put them to GY. Also sadly shifter kills the entire DW deck as they need to be discarded to GY, not just discarded like dangers sadly.

Why not use Number 23: Lancelot, Dark Knight Of The Underworld instead of the Galaxy Photon Lord since Lancelot has a omni negate and can attack directly which allows you to pop 1 face up monster your opponent controls if you deal battle damage with it? It seems like a overall much better option and is cheaper than the Galaxy Photon Lord!

1) because you want to increase the ability to trigger its effect as sometimes you might want to send reignbeaux etc and opening it isn't so bad when your not playing ken+gen etc. 2) you won't be able to bounce with typhoon, but it will skill be a negate because its continous not activated, so it becomes a stronger skill drain for 3k and above.

Im so salty that clorless, and a few other needed cards, are not in master duels. And sillva is banned on it. Edit: DW in MD is still nuts. Ive ended mybfirst turns with Harbinger, Appaloosa and purple grapha on the board. With an eradictor and that trap card that negates a normal summon that kets you discard a fiend. Ive also steam rolled a few opponents when i went second and had to get pass 5 or more negates and disruptions. And this is without dark cooridor, ken and gen, and a deck that isnt optimized because of the best of 1 matches. Also my darkworkd deck doesnt play 3 Rainbros or 3 gentas. Thonid love to if mD ever changes to full blown match ups.

Why not use doomcaliber knight instead of the koaki meru? Hes a monster negate and a fiend at that so you can still use him for fusions and gates if needed be.

It's only really taking 1 space in main and 1 in extra which would be the 2nd grepha fusion. I wouldn't say it's staple but it is really good a clearing a board going 2nd

I'm trying your list and I'm not finding it very easy to use, I don't understand some things like allure x2 corridor x2 accession x2 puppetry. In short, I really liked your old dark world builds and I played them a lot with small changes to play them more budget, but this one, I don't know, it's strange, I can't understand maybe the true potential of the new fusion (I don't find it so strong in short).

Corridor at 2 as mentioned is something im trying just to see it earlier. Allure also explained in the video is the only draw card the deck can use that can be used with the least investment and dosent give your opp anything, ore will become clear with the TH video tonight. Accession, as also mentioned at 2 is to facilitate Colourless, in the past it wasnt that important to have accession accessible for your opps turn, but with colorless it is. This version of the deck will play differently to others as you are going a different way to facilitate colourless, some wont like him as a card and you can completley cut him, hes just a really good go 2nd board clear option and a option to nuke your opps entire field if you go first and set him up as shown by the combo at the end. Pupperty is local spercific as its really good to deal with fire king match up, draw phase activate that going 2nd you gain advantage that your opp cant droll and you get rid of their ponix and barong along with garunix if they leave it there. youll also see in the test hand video how pupperty can be an exstender as well if needed.

The list has a lot of problems: the new dark world fusion is just bad do not play it, 2 ceruli is a lot especially if you only play 1 sillva. 6 danger isn't enough, there should be more like 8-10. For the moment (pre phantom knightmare) droll isn't in main so you don't need to play guardian in main, you are just losing going 2nd for no reason. 3 allure is mandatory. 3 field spell is better and again especially if you are only playing 6 dangers. You don't need to play 2 accession but it's fine. Puppetry in main WTF ? And WFT thrust and eradicator, that's not good. And for the extra: You lose 1 spot for because of the bad fusion, IP into SP is useless you can play SP because the card is strong but not IP into SP. And where the fuck is the knightmare gryphon ? You really don't need the 2 rank 8 xyz that negate a spell and monstere

@yutoYGO all your point are valid you just completely missed the point of the entire deck and the environment its going to. -Never played CBTG. - not sure about tour environment but loads of players are maining droll its crazy. - I think your way to harsh on colourless it's a great board clear boss monster for going 2nd and as shown in the combo can help disrupt, plus the profile is designed for its inclusion, If you don't like it, don't play it. - already mentioned why 2 accession, if your not playing colourless you just play 1. - puppertry again as mentioned was included due to the environment the deck gets played in. - same for eradicator, and thrust pretty sure we already talked about this, seems you just have a different play style which is fine, but you have missed the point of the profile which is why you have so many points against it. @stefannel1780 yeah if you play meru it's a nice way to protect, in my previous version I was playing Lava with trade in as I was playing so many level 8s, Buzz king is kwl but its a bit of a win more as imo the 1st rank 8 is photon lord or vampire, then you would consider giant trainer as draw 3 and 2400 burn is great, then buzz, issue with buzz is you need to rip an important 1 of which most high decks are douberling up, that being said it would suit a go 2nd version of this deck quite well

Risk giving the opponent extra options on their turn (e.g revival cards are now live, and those with in grave effects) 3. The deck is consistent enough already

@user-pr5ki6vs3i surley it would contribute to better end boards, if your discarding stuff like snow, reignbeux, grepha, silva and even ceruil you add to your board on interruptions right? I'm not sure how the outcome is any different in a max c format. The idea when your going 1st in DW is to take away your opps resource even if you give them cards in grave they only have 2 cards max to play with, like I said it's obv not good in a format when your opp would benefit from their stuff in GY so you just have to play it smartly. Obviously it's a 1 of but imo it's just such a good card should you open it with the right mixture if dangers and DW it can give you plusses for days, Draw x amount of fresh new cards and even search out a heck of a lot more.

@zephyrwargamesyugioh It's better in maxx c format cos it makes it far easier to deck the opponent out and get a free win (it's more common than you might think). This isn't 2012 anymore. Simply having plusses doesn't win you the game anymore. Through testing, the end board is the same with/without card des, bar a few extra cards in hand, which doesn't matter in a deck that doesn't run hand-traps and already has plenty follow-up plays. That said, this is just a personal preference, and I like a lot of your other card choices

My friend plays DW every time we compete. He does a long ass combo loop where he sends all your cards to the bottom of the deck on turn 0. Can't stop it? Just surrender, there's nothing you can do. You stop it? That's ok, he summons Draglubion and Numeron on his next turn and you're fucked. I've only ever managed to beat him once and he started raging like crazy, throwing cards against the wall and swearing a lot. I hate dark world.

Free to have that opinion, sadly Ken and Gen aren't as great as they are made out to be. Don't protect from droll if you fear it, which at current where I take the deck droll is mained so need to protect against that where able, Not to mention Ken and gen hit all the HTs and going 2nd are quite terrible.

You can yes, reason I went with eradicator was cause you can set it from thrust but adapt to personal preference
