I hugely disagree. Lair of darkness is really good to search vs fire king because they can't do a lot of their consistent plays because a lot of their links require fire also kirin can't imperm or veiler block with it on field meaning larz is better.

It's sad how they give dino players new support, but still the deck has the same weaknesses. We need a link 1 extender to be competitive. It takes only one hand trap to reduce our final board to a single lonely oviraptor. Imagine being able to link that ovi off and extend a bit more. I mean, at least it would take 2 handtraps to stop dino, which in today's standard is still weak, but we could have our fun.

Do you think the support like Ground Xeno & co was a step in the right direction? A link 1 that could pop a Baby in hand/deck would be amazing but I doubt Konami would be generous enough to give us that.

I took dino to locals last week with the new cards and the dragon shrine package and went 3-1. Not to say it was impressive but every game even with the new support and an extra way to play past ash on misc the deck still has it core weaknesse, it was really fun dont get me wrong and riot plus kaito are nice little pluses here and there. But we need some kind of real extender

One 4 round top is not enough to make an assessment of a deck. When you have multiple tops and have played the deck for a month at least... this analysis will be taken seriously

@@danilempke4245 shrine + Borreload Riot Dragon. Riot can add itself to hand and pop a baby on board/hand. so its basically just another way to combo with baby and through ash

Summon breaker is also a really good field spell to play too! It makes your opponent either waste a resource getting rid of it, or they don’t get a turn essentially

Well technically they do, just can't summon more than 2-3 times but they could still activate spell/traps

@@theunknownshadowish most spell/traps add or summon anyways now and lars can negate em. I normally end on UCT, Lars, apollousa for at least 3, laggia and something in my hand. With summon breaker, makes it pretty hard to get over that

@@Csalahydn despite the fact that there are spell/traps that summon does not change my point mate. A deck does not consistently of primarily spell/trap summons... Most decks now revolve on negates more than anything

Crazy tech since youre running dharc link in the extra. Consider secret village instead of one of the lost worlds. If you do that l;ine you still end on UCT, Larz and gigantazowler + dharc and secret village. In the side you can run other "floodgate" style feild spells like zombie world or necrovalley

Take out the panker, add single copy of scrap raptor. Put both panker in side deck for going second. Panker is dead going first, and if you don't draw it, it doesn't really get incorporated into the combo. Raptor is also dead in hand going first but it can at least add some synchro plays for savage dragon or nat beast. Not that it really matters that much, your opponent is just gonna stop ovi anyways 😂

Pank is fine to main. It sucks to draw going first but it can still come up in those games. If it were to come out it definitely wouldn’t be for a scrap raptor

What would you recommend replacing lost world with post phantom nightmare? Also I think prosperity is going to be significantly less good during that format because everyone will main droll. Do you have recommendations for this in advance? Also would you consider different engines like kashtira or the evolzar sinful spoils engine?

I think we still have to play lost world just probably not at 3. This deck can’t really afford to not be playing the extra consistency cards like prosp tbh so it is what it is. What are you referring to when you say kashtira engine? Sinful stuff is solid for going first but bad going second, too expensive to care tho. If I was to spend money on that stuff it wouldn’t be to play in Dinos lol

@@ReversaL_YGO I see. That makes sense. Maybe you can play things like crow in the main as well to be good against fire and snipe the linkiriboh as well. I'm reffering to the builds I've seen some people play that throw in with the fenrirs, 2 unicron, 1 riseheartt, Kashtiratheosis and pressured planet, and birth as well as a rank 7 package. It seems good especially going first because it doesn't take your normal summon, can get knowledge of your opponents extra deck, and play more field spells from deck off of horned saurus. Worth looking into.

@@_thebigsteve extra kash stuff is pretty bricky. Extra field spell with horned saurus I don’t think would really be doing anything, since horned saurus places I don’t think that would be considered activated to get the search off planet but could be wrong. But even if you would get the search it isn’t really doing anything since you have monsters on board

Cross sheep doesn’t really add anything to the board for that combo but maybe could be useful in other ones. I haven’t found it really necessary ever tho

I’d have to disagree rescue ace almost auto loses going first or second if you give them a token they turn into big monsters with conditions. Fire kings doesn’t do much against except no sky burn which is literally all you need the chain blocking is still crazy as well since there’s no negate except arvata to deal with it which conveniently enough any dino over 1300 can deal with on top of having a token on their field which just leads into full combo if the summon fire kings 🤷🏾‍♂️

@@ReversaL_YGO I get that even with that tho just protecting ovi from being stopped by two out of three of those decks half the problems is getting ovi to go through the other half is getting to the next line. The issue most people have with Dino’s is balancing board breakers with engine.
