There are 3 speeds of effects in yugioh: Speed spell 1- All the spells except the quick spells, you can identify this because the card has a little thunder. Speed spell 2- The normal and continous traps and the quick spells. Speed spell 3- The counter traps that are the traps that have a little arrow. So if you activate a spell speed 1, the other player canonly response to you with a spell speed 2, and you can response with a spell speed 2 or 3.

You can attack at least once with each monster you control, unless obviously something is preventing you to do so. In this case, he used quick effect spells to summon new monsters to attack, he can do this since he can activate quick effect spells on his turn, whenever he feels like.

He uses Quick-Play Spell Cards. You can use those in ANY time of your turn from your hand. And also, use them as "traps" in your opponent's turn.

quick play spells can be activated anytime during your turn whether its draw, standby, main, battle or end phases. It has to be set in order to activate it during an opponents turn.

All this epic music and the life point animation comes along a bit cheesy in my opinion, BUT I would like to subscribe a hundred times to you for all the effort you put into capturing a duel. Proper Lif Points display, showing the played cards extra, a perfect camera angle, everything is well to see, announcing every play one does. I just love to watch your duells. None other Yugituber I know, no matter how many subscribers does as good a job as you do. Lots of appreciation!

You can't use Poly (since it's a normal spell), but you can Super Poly because it's a quick-play Spell. Mask Change is also a quick-play spell. If it's a quick-play spell, you can activate it at any time from hand on your turn EXCEPT to chain a counter trap. If set, you can also activate it on your opponent's turn EXCEPT to chain a counter trap, but you CANNOT activate a quick-play the same turn you set it.

Alius is a gemini, meaning it counts as a normal monster unless you "normal summon" it again

Alius is a Gemini monster: it is treated as a normal monster on the field and in the graveyard. Hero Blast actually works quite well with Alius. On a side note, that was a very good game. I run the Skill Drain version of Elemental Heroes, and my win-to-loss ratio is about 40 to 1. E-HEROES ALL THE WAY!

i've recently gotten back to yu gi oh after leaving right in the middle of the Duel Academy cards (not really sure what to call them atm) and i've never gone to competitive tournaments.. in competitive tm's, are you only allowed to use character decks? and i've never seen those overlay cards, and quick spells i didn't know you could activate at anytime (almost) with those.. also, i have a horrible time keeping track of life points without a calculator... i would like a quick lesson plz someone.

Not being that guy but you could have xyz into blade armor njnja and then miracle fuisoned into shining for game also. Would have saved 2 cards in your hand, always nice to have several ways to win though, love the animations.

Just a thing, you changed your neos position and attacked with it in the same round, that's not legal, and monster reborn has been forbidden in a long time, we know you were planning on using that card again.
