Yeah, and since Spellbreaker is a spell-only Cold Wave by ditching an IB monster (say, Gantala), and Dance Princess prevents your opponents from overextending with backrow, they add some utility to the deck as well as being a 2000 defender and a 1700 beats, respectively. Some side or main deck techs I would also recommend are Eisbahn, to lock up opponent's monsters that they try to summon to beat over you, and Sacred Spirit to get rid of problem cards.

@galatic God - first, great deck man, and great channel Second, I would definatly run abyss soldier. Lets you ditch dead gantalas and hurt backrow. Plus, he can benefit from Spined Gillman (which if you run Diva and a few aquas, you might as well slot in). Id rate her over dance princess tbh. Sorry if im pointing out the obvious, but great deck anyway!

Hello there new subscriber anyway great deck list actually makes me want to try ice barriers again have you thought about trying a monster reincarnation in the deck? it would allow you to pitch general and to get back Richard to set the loop up again.

have you considered using dai-sojo? i find him very useful to deal with spell and traps that could hurt the deck. plus is can be summoned the same way as ganatala, with prior. but if gantala is on the field and you have a surface in the en phase you could bring the dai-sojo to protect Ur monsters from spell/traps but if they do get past it you can use surface to start it all over again. just a thought

you should try the lock with dai-sojo and defender. That's my favorite way to play ice barriers

no i think you discard an ice barrier as a cost so if they use something like fiendish chain or veiler you cant get the ice barrier monster back, same with cards like lightning vortex.

Love the deck, I just personally wouldn't run 3 vieler and 2 chains. I'd run bottomless or compulse over chains, but that's just me.

I don't understand why this deck isn't hated like the other Chaos Archfiend deck. I mean, in the Chaos Archfiend deck he adds cards that he actually can make plays out of, why would you add something that is a dead draw. I guess this deck is liked because of Richard :P

Blizzed's kinda bad. Dance Princess and Spellbreaker I find are a lot better, and if you use Defender of the Ice Barrier (the level 3 tuner, not Blizzed) and Surface with your level 4 spellcasters (Strategist, Dance Princess, Spellbreaker), it's free Arcanites for days.
