Altergiests are one of the top decks in YuGiOh being able to dominate against some of the top tier meta, but how does it fair against the new "kid" on the block in Prank-Kids? In this live duel we'll find out!
Edit: I would like to apologize a head of time for the camera being out of focus in this game. We are using a NEW camera that is 4k compatible so our setup has been changed. We are working on fixing that in our future videos. Of course we have our visual ques (Cards showing up on the video) and commentary to guide you along. Can't wait for Rocksies to come out. Love the synergy of the deck with Invoked. A searchable fusion which doesn't restrict the monsters you can summon, but also can be used multiple times per turn and can be recycled when Aleister is banished with Rocksies. It's a very fast deck and is so much fun to play

Fun to play yeah but sucks to play against since the Deck is fucking explosive and OTKs tooooo fast! Kind of annoying I'd say! Too annoying! And the worst thing is it's cheap and a lot of people are gonna play it!😑 Hate decks that kill the second or even the first turn!

you can chain block against almost every hand trap/altergesit protocol by making the field spell the last chain link. this way you can avoid ash,ogre,bell,etc. like dodo doodle doo cl1 to add cl2 and cl3 can be the floating effects and cl4 can be the field spell to stop hand traps and or in this senerio altergesit protocol from negating you.

god dude horrible misplay by geist shuffle faker add marionette summon to set protocol when veiler chained use sil to bounce the field spell and mary to hand set protocol since veiler only negates on field effects (you got village so no issue on returning their field) then opp turn spin mary for multi and wait when opponent goes for a threat play flip protocol summon faker and kunquery to negate its effect + now you got the battle bounce combo and the never ending loop (in most cases with sil and manifestation) i am gonna guess your friend is new to the altergeist style and it will take time to learn the deck but hopefully he heeds a few of my words

Had a life B4 this also you can use quick play effects during the battle phase only if it’s not in damage step, only quick effects that can be used in dmg step are negates and attack/def modifier.

David Bergman specifically the negation of activations. For example you can Ghost Belle in damage step but not Ash.

at 15:01 when you link into doodle doo and he strikes the summon, you dont get to summon the prankids from your deck since the summon wasnt successful they were not used to summon a prankid monster and cannot trigger also at 19:47 you mention putting the lamp in attack but you did the right thing cause all the prankids summon each other in defence, only the fusions can special them back in attack mode

Watch out! If the Summon of a prank kids link/fusion gets striked you cannot use the effects of your small Prank Kids in Grave because the summon "did not happen"... I tested it it is stupid;(

Look again the card. It says "during the main phase" so it can be activated in any main phase :)

i was playing on ygopro and my opponent striked my dodododo whatever on summon and the program did not let me use drop c and the red i believe (this was the first thing on my turn so none of the effs have been used yet) in grave to summon the other ones. Is it a bug or what?

I love the prank-kids mechanic but this duel sums up their problem for me -misplays- they pop off to hard, every combo requires 3+ cards and has 3+ summoning layers plus each card involves secondary effects π_π Its fun but my God you'd want to have memorised your combos
