No the dark magicians have to be on the field for the effect to activate so there is no activation Plus you can another spell Card To gain his affect because he needs to be on the field first to order the perfect activate because remember you’re activating the spell card to summon him you cannot just activity spell and then I summon him and then I get draw a card

10:35 No I don't think it works that way. The Dark Magicians would have to already be on field before you use that effect. If it said "When this card is summoned" and THEN mentioned that effect then yes, you could use it on summon but even then you'd have to be careful because you could easily miss the timing.

21:52 The monster summon takes up a second overlay unit, so you can't both take a monster and keep their other monster underneath Sheridan unless you use multiple Crackdown or two of your three level 6s.

So what I mean is the first detach is your monster to send, then detach their monster to revive the monster you send with his effect. Ultimately in that instance it dosent matter what you detach you just evaluate the value if reviving a card and the card you have attached. If it's like harp horror or spiny and your reviving a ding or heat Leo it may be worth detaching, you just need to think ahead on what benefits you more

I think you should try adding beat cop from the underworld because u could tribute her and place a patrol counter on the eternal soul which protects it from being destroyed by card effects. Nice deck build btw :)

I wouldnt worry about soul, I dont expect it to be that high, but if it is there isnt really a card that does what it does so youd be looking at more draw power, gamma engine, crackdown engine or wind witch as shown towards the end of the video

No the magicians do not see the card. The reason things like astrograph sorcererand by extension chronograph sorcerer can be used is because of private knowledge vs. Public knowledge. Your field, grave and banish are all public knowledge, by that I mean both players know and are allowed to view those areas. Private knowledge is your hand, deck, amd extra deck. This is areas of the game where only the player may know or view and makes it unable to prove you did not have the card before the activation requirements. For clarity, judges have stated, if the conditions are met before the chain resolves, and the card was added during chain, then if the condition starts in hand it is allowed to go thru.

But why does Salamangreat Gazelle meets it's activation when using Cynet Mining to add it hand by discarding a salamangreat monster? Since it comes from deck, and deck isn't public knowlege ?

@@BleekBless Since the hand is private knowledge the rule states that if it is in the hand at the resolution then the card will still see the requirement is met. It's a bit confusing but to put it simply since you can't verify the hand because it is private knowledge, then you can add it mid chain and it will still meet the requirements, where if you summon it to the field you can clearly see there was no other card on the field at the time of activation thus the requirement wasn't met since both players are given this information.

@@BleekBless it's simply a quality of life rule that makes it so judges aren't called to check the hand to see if it was there before the requirement is met. They basically say assume there is another in the hand since you can't see his hand. And yes, even though gazelle is limited the rule still applies. It is a game rule.

sadly not, everything can be ashed, just remember it only negates the effect to search, so you cant ash the banish effect of circle for example and ash is only in effects against cards that send as cost.

Is there a reason your not maining extravagance aside from the not being able to draw off soul, but regardless it's still a free +1 for the deck that dosent care to much about the extra deck aside from its fusion's that you can play at 3 each. Also here's to praying mag soul drops under 50usd so I can get my playset :)

I wouldnt worry about souls price tbh, The only reason I'm not play extravagance atm is because of servant and the extra deck space, it can be easily added as I agree it's a very useful +1 just need to test more and see how much it clashes or risks the extra

How come 90% of ppl pronounce ebon as E-bon when it's based off the word ebony for black/dark wood?

I can only assume that due to the fact it dosent Have the Y then it becomes E-Bon rather than Ebony magician, and Ebon High and Ebon Illusion magician just flows better? Either that or a mistranslation from the japanese one

I'm running a really similar deck and having a lot of fun with it but my best friend runs Madolche and has been driving me insane with that Taiaramisu non target shuffle

Far from it, soul and faithful servant open up the deck so much the only cards that really brick you hand are The magician or dark illusion, mahad if you open it and DMG these you can if you want to put back into the deck with faithful

@@RNO33 surley on your examples there no point in playing the deck? DM is DM you have to play 3, DMG sets up faithful, burning magic, and bond between. Mahad again mainly being played because of faithful, Illusion magic I agree on and same for magician of dark illusion, I feel magican can help, I dont see how ash can be a brick you really need to have some form of disruption if you dont win the dice roll, and any deck in the world if you open up 3 copies of the same monster will be a brick so that's not a fair example. These are just my opinions but it's the risk you run with DM, arguably more draw power could be added in place of Illusion and TDIL ideally extravagance but then you run the risk of bricking on faithful
