I found that it depends on the case. Some cases are mappable some aren't. Luckily most of the shops around here shuffle the packs when they open a fresh box. My shop nearby also shuffles the boxes whenever they open a fresh case because the QCR boxes can be mappable too.

Mapping the boxes is just really stupid, bc imagine going to a locals where you watch the open boxes go down and then just get the packs you know will have high rarity cards

What makes mapping really sad is that a lot of card shops will just open boxes and not mix up the packs in the box so unless you get a box you have a very good chance of just waisting your money.

I opened a lot of dimension force and its inconsistent which ones are mapped. Always good to assume that they are, though. Just to avoid being scammed or something with loose packs!

I bought 48 loose packs from someone of Cyberstorm access for about $110, no secrets, but at least I did pull Dis Pater, also bought 10 loose packs of age of overlord from a seller for $22 and pulled Ty-phon and kings sarcophagus, so kinda made my money back on pulls for both, but if you buy loose packs hoping to pull an expensive ultra, it’s not bad if you get each pack for $2

Me and my friends we all got one box each one, mine had both Secrets on the 2nd pack and one of my friends had them on 2nd as well, the other had it on the 5th pack and the last one it had them on the 8th pack, two of them pulled a QSR on the 12th pack on the left side. All boxes were from the same case since the guy at the store opened a new case for us, guess two boxes might be mapped while others are random.

Mapping can be an issue. I’ve even heard talk about being able to map boxes in a case on where to possible figure out which boxes will have QCRs. Not sure how true that is

Boxes are mapped. But there are a couple of different mapping schemes. There are also specific mapping for boxes with QCRs but it’s different for each set

I opened 3 boxes and 5 of the 6 secrets were in the 11th pack down. I dont think its really mapped, so much as just from the same batch. also even without mapping, loose packs are risky due to the possibility of having been weighed.

Maybe because they’re process is that of a factory’s so they have a process to make sure every box has 4 ultras and 2 secrets putting them I random spots in every box could cause a a lot of errors
