More accurate to call it spell counters. While not in the name of a specific series of cards, it is an archetype in the general sense of the word. Plus with the mythical beast package plus magical abductor, you actually end up playing just as many non Endymion spell counter holders if not more.

It mixes well with other pendulum cards, zefra, perfomapals, odd eyes, and a few others. The main play is endymion but it also incoporates much more, calling it just endymion is not doing it justice.

Honestly can we just call Pendulum decks by their archetypes? Magicians, Performapals, Endymion, Odd-Eyes, Etcetera are indeed synergistic but they're all distinct archetypes. Majespecters are Pendulums like D/D/D are Pendulum like Dracoslayers are Pendulum but they're all very different.

We do that when you actually play the archetype by itself as a deck. In this case we’re putting multiple pendulum based archetypes together.

The kendo was actually it's own effect as the last chain link to chain block the balerdroch. (Update: kendo is mandatory, must be CL1) And both reflections targeted servant because cost is to target 1 card on each side (yours has a spell counter) so servant is still on board to target with both. Amazing play.

Zombie was straight up cheating. He KNOWS Balerdroch comes back in Defense... Also, Pend player, please read carefully. No point on "reading" a card and not actually reading. Anyway, it didn't matter in the end but it bugs me when players cheat like the zombie guy.

After that, you can no longer use citadels effect. Izzy is a great Pendulum pilot, it's just a shame that both players failed to realize that Kai-Den Kendo Spirit's scale eff is mandatory and therefore must take cl1. The THEN cl3 Reflection would have been able to be banished with Balerdroch which would have mattered a lot. Still a great representation of new format Pendulum, nonetheless.

Well; I think this shows the more technical side of the game. Rather than Yu-Gi-Oh! Being a game based purely on luck, this shows the extreme level of skill and focus needed to actual pull a win. It may seem a bit boring to some, but personally these tricky combos are much more fun than watching someone set one card and 3 backrows and pass lol.
