Terminal Revenge does give spright an indirect support from the new Ice Barrier cards. basically, one swap frog by itself can make toad now with the new "Mirror Magic Master of the Ice Barrier" monster, not sure how impactful that card will be in that deck though.

you should take a second look at Spright post BLTR. thanks to Mirror Mage of the Ice Barrier, Swap Frog is once again a one-card Toadally Awesome. and thanks to Spright Double Cross acting as our pseudo Elf for the time being, we got 2 Toad negates, all while getting follow up from Toad’s graveyard effect to add Nimble Beaver back to hand. that along with 12-15 hand traps, Spright is definitely a threat again.

I saw a video with a Genex list that had about 9 cards to counter interruption (Crossout, Sauavis, Called By, and the Sky Striker spell). Going 2nd against Genex is going to be scary, especially if you only open 1 HT. Edit: I’ll be playing pure Ice Barrier with an Ib (Justiciar) package.

Currently they are rogue. Meta is more based on play rate and percent tops and the consistency of those two versus potential of a deck. It’s just a symptom of the format we are right now.

By definition of what a rogue deck is, they are all rogue decks. This is because Snake-Eye, and to a lesser extent Tenpai Dragon, are holding a monopoly on the meta right now.

People always forget about the older brother, scareclaw. Most of his weakness has been covered with a very searchable spell card that doesn’t let him get targeted or destroyed by card and anything he kills gets banished, you can even send scareclaw links to banished and destroy stuff. Ages of star and frost can be used by any deck and it lets you do two battle phases. It’s weakness is mainly droll and niburu but if you wait to use his ability for next turn then it’s 4 special Summons soo you can just wait it out for next turn while you floodgate

For those of you who may be curious, I think Sky Striker is in a good spot after Azalea Temperance. They now have even better board breaking potential than they did before, and a Link-3 which is something they’ve needed for a minute. But they do still suffer from the same problems that Sky Striker always has, at least in my experience. So I’m gonna put Sky Striker in Takes a Good Pilot tier.

Also, the next pack comes with dark magic mirror force. Archfiend allows for DM recursion on T1 if it gets Ghost Ogred and then you get a mirror force that works against attack or card destruction for free

I’m just saying, I play Dino’s, and I’ve beaten every single snake eye AND tenpai dragon deck I’ve gone against, really any deck that deals with a lot of monsters, my only problem is when I get hit with “Set 5, pass” and during standby they go “I’m gonna flip gozen, rivalry, skill drain, anti spell, summon limit 😀”

Then your going against bad pilots,keep in mind a top deck is only as good as the player using it,if your beating them then it's a skill issue with the other player or bad hands dinos are good..but not strong enough nib alone cripples you and a well placed effect veiler

I think centurion should be a solid choice, the fact that you have so many one card combos makes it able to play a lot of handtraps and interruptions. I play centurion with 20 non engine interruptions and it still goes pretty well

Yugi deck for me is tier 1 rpgue. Having massive siccess at locals and with post info shits insane. Every card you activate isba menace and requires the opponent to react or negate atleast. Decks like tamer beast are or raid raptors are ladder decks. Activate a billion cards and summons for an endboard. Yugis deck only needs 1 card for each action they want to perform

I'm curious your thoughts on D/D/D. I've been piloting the deck for a while, and while my build is a bit different than the normal, I've made it through Diamond Rank and am currently doing well in the WCS Qualifiers on Master Duel with the build. Currently on a 10-win streak. I know Master Duel isn't the same meta, but the core deck would still be the same in the TCG. Just different hand traps and whatnot. I feel like it's a great rogue contender.

Hope Konami moves away from putting opponents monsters in spell and trap zones. It makes no sense the monster is on the field just watching you lose. Or allow said monsters to still activate effects.

Idk where Galaxy Eyes sits persay, but it's an archetype with tons of two card combos that can field a lot of really strong monsters and OTK. However, it really struggles vs. nibiru (and maxx c in MD). I like playing it.

Dawg huge respect to you my man, but other than baronne synchron decks didn't use borreload. The Accel Stardust line is still alive and kicking which was the main play anyway. The deck aint super strong, but I don't believe it's "terminal outta here" it still has some of that dawg left in it I feel. I feel it's more on the "Needs Help" category.
