Pre-Xyz or Pendulum Yugioh was top tier tbh. It's no wonder Goat format and TeleDAD format are such popular legacy formats with players, and that prompted Konami to even invent Duel Links and Speed Duels, I kinda hope Speed Duels gains some traction and goes in the direction of Duel Links. I'd love to see Duel Links to have big tournaments.

Aaaaahhh! This takes me back to when I started playing again! Ended up getting Decade Duels for the 360, downloading a save file that had a "Twilightsworn" "recipe" and after playing it fell in love with Lightsworn. When the Ra mega packs came out I dumped so much money to get those Lightsworns and play the deck. Lightsworn without a doubt was one of the most iconic decks in Yugi history.

I also had a feature match at this event against Theerasak in round 3 I believe. I played Chris Bowling (won nats before this sjc) the previous round and 2-0d him. Was a good time, also Cantu lost on purpose to Corn in the finals in exchange for the prize stuff. Was a good tournament.

One of the only SJC I got to go to, outside Texas. I made $1300+ at that event, mostly selling E-Hero's Prismas that I had stockpiled, bought for >$5, sold $50+. Cantu (2nd place) rode with us up there and back (he's a total douche bag thief, btw). It was a great event, all in all. Even made some more money on way back at some random burger king on way home to Austin, some other players had stopped there, too.

Konami should make 4 formats for the game besides the Advanced and Traditional.. 1: April 2005 Banlist - Goat Format; 2: September 2008 Banlist - Retro Format; 3: March 2011 Banlist - Synchro Format; and 4: July 2015 Banlist - Nekroz and Duelist Alliance Format. Those are going to be a lot of fun.
