What I love about this set is the import of fire reaper and blue eyed silver zombie. They've been OCG only for 20 years. Also Fortress Whale reprint is huge, it was over £100 and now its a 1 quid common. That ultra metal morph is lovely.

Yeah I knew a few cards were imported but wasn't sure which ones so thanks for the info on that, yeah fortress whale is an awesome reprint so I'm really hoping hard to get older cards like this get more reprints in future sets just to bring the cost down a bit but it's just nice to see older cards in play again brings back alot of good memories from when I first started playing 🙂

Got my box this morning and what a pull. 4 ultra rares inc bandit Keith skill in first pack. And 5 supers. Sadly didn't get any of the awesome cards you pulled except the Bonz skill. Still got the two new decks as well they are awesome and the reason they have 30 cards each is there is two ways you can build each deck dependant on the skill you use. Very nice.

Like many other formats, it takes time to grow. I would like to see more Speed Duels content (Great job on the video btw). Speed Duels is apparently huge internationally. They had a tournament few months ago. Once the card pool increases more, there's a chance that Speed Duels will become big. Comparing different formats from this game to another, Commander from the MTG scene used to be very small few years ago (similar to Speed Duels today) and now it's huge. Even though packs contains 4 cards each, it shows that a normal rare card is actually a "rare" card to pull because not every pack is guaranteed to have a rare card in it (similar to OCG packs and stand with the idea of it b/c it would help maintain it's value a bit in the long run by not over saturating the market if the format becomes big).

This set finally gives us the first OCG vanilla imports in 5 years (not counting OTS 5 rose spectre of dunn and snakeyashi) in a main set. Fire reaper and blue eyed silver zombie is within this set two dope zombies and we've finally got a reprint of Fortress whale!

Yeah this is genuinely quite exciting really. There is a lot of vanilla cards that never got imported because.... well.... they were a bit pants really. But now it make sense to import that as part of this. Well done Konami.

@@YouGiOh I hold out hope that we'll get a ton more, just for collectors purposes, duel links are full of them. Starter decks ultimate predators are giving us Big insect, Alensection and winged cleaver also as vanilla imports. Fingers crossed for more pants vanillas; the art cannot be beat as there's a certain uniqueness to their art.

I'm not /super/ into the format, but I do like that they're at least using these sets for cool imports/reprints and the foiling looks really cool :) Still fun to watch openings for!

Hey are the supers and ultras you pulled extra shiny? I seem to see the faces of those cards being completely holo as opposed to the typical just shiny artwork, stars, etc.

book of life has only 1 other ultra rare printing from Legendary Collection 4: Joey's World Mega Pack. they should have printed fortress whale as a ultra so it'd tank the price of the super rare version.

I'm having a blast with speed duel. The people that play it are for the most part chill and are there to have fun. It's as close to the real Yu-gi-oh! as it gets it's just a light variant. The current mainstream game is just a boring chain of who has the latest link monster/short print cards and who drew the hand traps.

First
