@partyboy1340 While it can be argued that Astral's deck doesn't make the most out of the Numbers' power, Astral himself is still going all out with the cards he was given. The cards that Astral drew only allowed him to summon 1 Rank 4 (without rank ups). Since the other Rank-Up-Magics in his hand aren't usable without 39 being on the field, summoning Hope was his best bet at breaking through Yuma's defenses. Whilst there could be some other Rank 5/6 options for Astral to summon with DRUM - Hope Force, summoning out Beyond would protect all cards he controlled from card effects and Victory was the only way for Astral to break through Yuma's board and get a direct attack in. As for what he could have summoned off of RUM - Dark Force, it would not matter much since the Numbers would have their effects negated and they would have no XYZ materials. The only time in the duel where Astral made a mistake was using Hope's attack negation during Gagaga Cowboy's attack which allowed Yuma to use Moon Bumper. And even then, it wasn't because he was "holding back." Astral is overly cautious and that lead to him assuming that Yuma had a card that would allow him to beat Hope without his intervention. I'm tired of this misconception that Astral was holding back because it makes 0 sense for his character and the actual options he had in the duel. _No._ Astral couldn't use the Numerons because the Numeron Network was destroyed. _No._ Astral couldn't use Shock Master, Coat of Arms, or Heart-Earth. He only had enough material to make a 2 material Rank 4 for the entire duel. _No._ Astral couldn't summon Numeron Dragon. He still had cards on his field when Yuma declared a direct attack. Numeron Dragon can only be summoned with its own effect if you control no cards. _No._ Astral could not use Zeal Weapons (ZWs). Only ZeXal can Shining Draw Zeal Weapons (ZWs). _No._ Astral was NOT holding back. He used every card at his disposal to the best of his own ability because he didn't want to hold back against Yuma. Their duel would have been meaningless otherwise.

NEVER appeared in the anime (only offscreen, especially Base 5) AND were introduced either in Manga, or TCG/OCG

When i first heard about this anime, I thought it'd be a cool episodic experience where Yuma would collect each number and use them to his advantage when needed against the Villains of the Week (I mean, Gagaga Magician has a legel augmating effect for a reason right?). Instead, I had to watch week after week of Utopia and Friends, even when a different number he had already collected would be better suited for that particular duel.
