Nove svecice, nov karburator, novi kablovi i pali bolje nego nova vozila, ponosan sam vlasnik juga 45 već 33 godine..

Ma daa pali bolje ,a i bolji je auto od svih ovih novijih haha,najveci uspeh juga i vlasnika istih je da jugisa upali ,a kad upali nema boljeg auta kakvi novi auti kakvi bakrači hahaha

-13F. For a non fuel injected car, that's pretty good! You really have to have someone maintaining the car who understands carburetors and non computerized systems to own these, now. Ironically, they're too complicated for many modern mechanics.

@@2smokes Emissions regulations made fuel systems more complicated starting from the mid '70s till the mid '80s, when throttle body fuel injection actually simplified things. Having had both a 1974 Dodge and a 1977 Dodge, I can say that the 1977 Dodge "lean burn system" was a relative mess compared to the 1974. Most cars of that era had smog pumps, etc. It's common to remove that mess to make them simpler and more reliable today. I'd be surprised if your Yugo still had all of that.

@@DUCKSAREEVILLLLLLLL what still had ? there were some efi models but my is carbuator. planing on 1.4 fiat swap it but first got to get oldtimer badge (makes evrething cheaper, insurance 90% off and road tax 80% off)

@@2smokes If it was meant for export to The U.S. and carburetor equipped, the originally equipped car would be a mess of hoses, electronics, and a smog pump. If fuel injected, it would be simpler.

@@DUCKSAREEVILLLLLLLL yugos were importet to the use carburated idk what year but my is a 88 so idk 85-90 soo.... And some were efi but non efi didnt have anything special other than the vacum for retarding ignition which isnt anything special

If you're speaking of air conditioning, even the North American Yugos didn't get that until pretty late in production, and other videos and commenters report that it didn't work that well, but I never owned one, so I can't say for sure.

If this car had been maintained and serviced, it would have started on the first try. This driver apparently forgot to “pump” the gas a few times to get gas in the carburetor; you do not crank the engine before pumping the gas to get it to start. There is NO point in “priming the engine” before starting it, and I say this with no disrespect to anyone…

There is no need to prime the engine before you start it. Set the choke before starting the engine, and make sure that it doesn’t die. I’d wonder if the carburetor timing is off. It doesn’t take several attempts to get a car to fire up.

The problem here is that this driver either doesn’t know how to properly start a carbureted engine or the car needs service. The driver in this video needs an education on starting carbureted engines. With no disrespect to anyone, a car will let any joker operate it or work on it. If this were my car, it would not have problems like this..

@@DUCKSAREEVILLLLLLLL Some of these older cars did have manual chokes. The owner of this Yugo should have NEVER let the car sit this long. No wonder it was so hard to start. If you do not drive a car on a regular basis, it needs to be started and let run for about 30 minutes (or until the temperature gauge hits normal) every 2 weeks, and move the vehicle about 16 feet (back and forth). I would never let a car sit this long…

Pre ce biti da ti o autima nemas blage veze. Jer na Yuga su se uvek zalili samo oni koji nit su ga odrzavali niti su o autima uopste bilo sta znali. Oni drugi su isli sa njim bukvalno bilo gde i bilo kad i nikad ih nije ostavio nigde.
