I have one of those M88a mini Tokarevs. Bought it new in 2014. You can use Norinco 9mm mags it that piece and shouldn't have any issues. I bought a couple and have not had any issues with the slide locking back after the last round. Thank you for the video!

If Zastava would only make the guns they already make high quality they would be great, but they keep this Soviet mentality it works so its good enough. Arex made CZ99 into a beast, and M-57 is a beloved weapon in the Balkans, they could make so much money but just won't do it ... oh and M88A is just a Tokarev (M-57 in Yugoslavia) in 9mm they were probably looking to switch caliber and that was the simplest option, there are many versions of it.

@@PatriotArms90 both is possible, back in Yugoslavia weapons were made to work like Kalashnikov so they weren't as nice as 1911s, but they should work no hick ups. I heard from people in Serbia that have access to newer and older pistols, that the new ones that are produced are unreliable (old one had great reputation for working, at least Cz 99, but others were probably the same), a year or two ago Serbian president asked one of the engineers if they fixed the problem (question was about Ez9 ) and reply was yes. But who knows, they are state owned firm and vitally important so they know they won't be fired and profit is not a major concern, because country will pay in the end of the day. A friend of mine used M-57 in a war over other pistols, he was in special forces and had access to several, so that one must be reliable as well and given legendary status it shouldn't be a surprise.

@@PatriotArms90 M-57 is made by Zastava, it is Yugoslav version of Tokarev, it has one extra bullet. It is in 7.62x25 caliber.
