that time, it was very difficult to come through these competitions as there was no partiality , influence, references etc.. Sonu Nigam , Shreya are really good in judging and selecting the best singers ! now a days , if we see, we can find references and tone modulation everywhere! jubin has improved alot now.. a good singer !

I would still say Sonu was right, how many modern bollywood singers can deliver a live vocal on stage these days.
