I really love that this duel references Yugioh Sevens, and even sort-of has Yuga's old friends make ghostly cameo appearances as he summons their ace monsters. And honestly? Even the fact that the duel ended in a draw was fine with me. At least it wasn't a loss for Yuga because OH BOY did him losing in Sevens cause me to face-palm a lot after a while. (Fun fact: I'd forgotten he kept losing duels in Sevens until I saw a comment about it).

When Yuga summoned Sevengias and all his friend Aces i thought, "Now he doesn't lose to Yuhi and Yuamu at all", but then I remembered that I thought this several times in sevens and he ended up losing, and for a moment I thought he was going to end up losing again! Jointech Burst Dragon effect is really op.

yuga always get stronger with each defeat, and his first duels against other duelist are his worst so if he got a draw in his first duel then his second will be his win...

Yuga's duel against Tiger was Sevens' biggest humiliation for a character, and an unnecessary one. Yuga not only lost that duel, he was completely humiliated, if I'm not mistaken he doesn't take 1LP away from Tiger, and if he does, it's less than 500, has his Maximum and his fusion (Fucking Sevens Paladin) totally annihilated...The beating was so bad that he ends up passing out in the next duel against Yuga Goha because he still hasn't recovered from the defeat agains Tiger...(Luke Words), not to mention all the provocations that Tiger throws in his direction during the entire duel. It was a totally gratuitous defeat and humiliation for Yuga, sometimes it was hard to understand what the writers wanted to do with Yuga in sevens, The ending sort of redeemed him, but many of Yuga's defeats are still hard to digest.

The best result. Yuuhi doesn't need another lose and the LAST thing Yuga needs is YET another lose. A draw works nice. Now can we get Yuamu to duel someone that is ACTUALLY relevant and win ? Yuuhi loses more but he gets all the plot importance, character focus and development meanwhile Yuamu is so underdeveloped and didn't beat anyone actually noteworthy yet despite losing less than Yuuhi. We need some Yuamu focus and a big win for her
