it's probably for recording purposes, they tell the audience to save the applause for before and after the performance so that they don't interfere with the live recording. +KHsavvy I wrote this to another viewer on here too. yeah the crowds in Korea are usually chill unless it's like a stand up concert. But I've heard it's a sign of respect for the artist. They're actually paying attention to the performance and taking in what they've worked so hard for. Some Korean artists gets shocked and overwhelmed by international fans who are screaming and so hyped. They like it but it's culture shock. xD
