It's so good. You can feel the hopelessness, anger and sadness in certain notes and they all blend so well together. It's personally one of my favourite JJK Nerdcore songs released. It's just so different from the others.

One thing that Johnald does better than so many others is the fact he makes a song truly in inspiration of a character while keeping all or most in-universe material separate, at most using double entendre's. It makes it easier to separate this song from the source material, and can let it be applied to so much more as well.

Like you said, he manages to capture how the character feels but word it in a way that it can be taken away from the source material and applied to other irl things. i dont care if ive already commented i have to mention it the build at 2:39 and then onwards is just amazing story telling. the majority of the song comes across as a sad telling of the story and yujis feelings throught the shibuya arc and the show as a whole, but then once that build hits it reminds you that hes still determined if not more than ever to make everything right and will do whatever it takes. and i really dont know how to articulate it properly but the 4 notes after "when i stab your back dont be surprised" do something insane to my feelings it fills with so much determination and hope and just this strong feeling like the tides have changed like yuji wont let sakuna win no matter what. the visual 100% help with this but theres just something about those 4 notes that hit so hard i love it so much

Holy shit that vocal performance is superhuman, you transition between really distinct techniques with terrifying ease so well done. But I also have to talk about the vision here? The thumbnail art is gorgeous and tells such an incredible story, especially combined with your lyrical and sonic contrast in identity between the songs for Yuji and Sukuna. Sukuna’s song is self aggrandizing, hard hitting metallic noise that leaks over into powerful screams that are a celebration of his power. Yuji’s song is much softer, and his heavier vocal elements all reflect his grief and his guilt with his lyrics focusing on the people around him. It’s so reflective of their characters and well put together I absolutely love this. Congratulations, this project is the kind of home run that breaks a car’s windshield 200 meters outside of the stadium. Amazing fucking work.

This song is one of my favorites ever, it just hits so much for me right now. Everything just hits so different, especially when I almost got into a car accident today, due to my own fault and finding out my now ex wanted to break up with me.
