I was so speechless when I finished the MV... the melody, the visuals, THE VOICE AND THE LYRICS! Everything hits differently, especially when one knows what happened to Gfriend. The lyrics make me more curious about what really happened to their contract. Yuju was hinting something, i just know it. By the way, PLAY is already magnificent, but the rest of the songs in the album are as great! Definitely no skips! I recommend listening to it order to get the full experience. 👌

i wouldn’t have wanted this song to be any different. the entire concept and song was just so mature, classy, sexy, and rich. lyrics weren’t cringey which i tend to see a lot in kpop and made sense. The choreography was just SOOO CLEAN. choreo was so elegant and sexy at the same time. when that second part of the chorus comes and she bends a bit and lifts her hands up slowly is just PERFECTION. the highlight of this song was definitely her voice. her voice can go so deep and give off a strong sinister vibe, and then she’ll bring you right up to the heavens when she sings in that beautiful and fluttery sound. i’ve never known about her before but i’m so happy i got the song recommended to me. i can’t wait to see more of this woman in the future!!

After GFriend disbanded I was really depressed cuz they were one of my first group after Twice in 2015. So yeah I felt lost cuz the disbanding was out of nowhere. I'm happy that she is doing great. I loved this debut, her music's just gonna keep getting better, I know it, I kinda get the creepy vibe you mentioned lol, idk why but Yuju always gave me this kind of vibe, not that she's weird, but like I felt the music she'd make as a solo artist would be kind of emotional, a little dark and also a little creepy, something like Melanie Martinez, but not really themed with childhood and pastel colors
