I don't think she needs all that extra paid promotions and stuff that ultimately comes out of her pay because it counts towards production cost and shortens her pay. Like think of it like this. A company uses 1M to produce song and music video the company then makes 2M in sales. Then the company has to pay workers and producers which halfs the profit from 2 mill back down to 1 mill. Then the company takes 50% and then the remaining 50% goes to yuju(for this purposes I say 50/50 but often it's not split down the middle this way, smaller company's often get bigger cuts of their idols pay) so that leaves yuju with 500,000. And 250,000 or less if the company chose to go the paid promotions route. So overall she benefits more from not using paid promotions because the fans will usually promote for her anyway. I also want to make a disclaimer and state this is my opinion from working in business and is no way factual. I also want to point out many idols don't even make a profit from comebacks or their music but rather from performances they do on music shows and side gigs they may have.
