Chiaki used to say something like “run to the open spot wherever it is and I’ll make the ball come to you” Yuki also reminds me of the MC in the manga, he is short and thought he will never be able to stand in the court but his mother said that there is a weapon for short person and that’s a three point shot.. really good manga such a pity it is really underrated

Tobio sets the ball to shoyo to score a point. Not only that he has great sense of the game and spatial awareness of the game, players in the game and great ball control. For Yuki, ball control to pass and the no look pass. I remember all my favorite haikyuu moments. Yuki is amazing!

The thing I love about his play style is that’s it’s reminiscent of what Kobe and Michael Jordan loved about the game. They’ve always said they hated where basketball playmaking was going. Drive and pass. It’s boring and two dimensional. Tuki is like this all seeing eye, that can make the perfect play, which leaves a perfect gap in the defense for his teammates to get a shot off. It brings back some of that old magic Kobe and Michael loved, which centered around strategy and play making
