After watching Japanese soft tip players for well over a decade, I've realized they almost always have perfect throwing fundamentals. They never move, very consistent pull back with no excess movement, and a perfect follow through with full arm extension/wrist break. It's almost like how if a robot was trained to throw a dart, the arm movement would end up looking like your average Japanese darts player. Where as if you look at throwing styles from the US, UK, and Netherlands, almost all are completely different.

I hope she continues to play well in this organisation. She has potential. The only thing I would change is her throwing speed. I tend to think she over concentrates her throw just a little (I know this style made her successful in Japan, so naturally it's going to be tough). She also needs to adapt to heavier darts played in the PDC. In addition, Yukie also has to consider which organisation she wants to commit to. It would be difficult training and participating for the Japanese circuit and the PDF. Different style of play, adjusting to the weight of both sets of darts, travel, muscle memory, time difference, practice time, etc etc.

@Juan S Apart from being regocnized and accepted by the IOC (which most sports that wanna become olympic fail), the international governing body for darts (which is not the PDC) would have to abide the world anti doping code (which might be an issue). Darts is also not very suitable for a massive venue + the IOC has limited the amount of sporting diciplines in the summer olympics, which means that for a new sport to become olympic, a current one has to lose their spot.
