You are, by far, the best presenter on planners I have ever seen and believe me, I’ve watched thousands!! Extremely thorough in every one of your videos. Also, u share tons of ideas! ARIGATO GOZAIMASU!!!

You are a real model to be followed, your system is awesome. I try hard ( :) indeed!) to copy some of your precious ideas, and i am always amazed of its complexity and precision, although it looks so simple. As one of my professors said 'the real great master can explain the most complex things in the most simple ways, so that the 6 years old may understand the quantum theory'.... for me, YOU are the real grand master of functional and efficient planning. Keep going, and many thanks! I am grateful for every of your teaching.

You're too kind, Aniela! My planning style is an accumulation of all that I have learnt from other people, so I cannot say I am a grand master. But thank you for your compliment. I am very glad to hear that you're trying out some of these ideas and hope that they work for you! Don't be afraid to experiment =D What works for me might not work for you!

How did you train yourself to be so perseverent and consistent in life? :) you are amazing... ok, I hear a lot of the Japanese education, but you work really very hard, your style is organized and concise. This is intelligence and hard work, and strategic thinking. And: of course that some systems are not yours, because nobody ask to reinvent the wheel.... but everybody use the knowledge in his/her specific way, and your way IS amazing. Congratulations! Thank you for all your sharing.

I just ordered a Jibum techno from Amazon. It’s undated which is goood and it was $28.00

I am unaware that undated Jibun Techo exist. All the Jibun Techo that I've seen are dated. I hope it works for you.

To be honest, I find my planner system so simple that I feel embarrassed by it... It's like, there's no novelty to this planner system to speak of. But it works for me and I wanted to show people that planning isn't complicated. So I made this flipthrough... I'm glad it resonates with you! =)

Thank you for another great video! I look forward to them coming up in my feed! I have tried many ways to manage my projects, and in the end I felt the same as you - too much copying lists over and sometimes things being missed. I ended up moving all of my project management into OmniFocus on my laptop. I now use this as my project tracker, and just write down what I’d like to complete in the coming week into my planner. I’ve found this very effective!
@yukikosakamura64986 жыл бұрын
I've heard great things about OmniFocus! I've been thinking of using Asana (an alternative since I don't own any Apple products) as my project management tool. But truthfully, I think my issue isn't the tool but the motivation... It feels overwhelming to think about all my tasks, since I have so many projects ongoing.

Your videos are always so informative ☺️ Although the audio on my end is so low.
@yukikosakamura64986 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, the audio is low on my end as well. I'm looking into purchasing a camera for my filming, but am short on funds at the moment. Hopefully in the near future, I'll be able to buy one so that the audio and video quality will be better!

Love your planning - so awesome! Question for you. Do you know of an English edition of the Nolty? Perhaps another similar product? Thank you!
@yukikosakamura64986 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry but I don't know of an English edition of the NOLTY... The most similar planner to the NOLTY is the Jibun Techo, which is also a Japanese planner... The Passion Planner might come close but it's too prescriptive, and is difficult to customize compared to the NOLTY. I think you can download a Passion Planner printable to try out the planner. It's available on their website, if I'm not mistaken.

Thank you for sharing your systems! I like the simplicity of just a black pen - which pen or pens are your favorite to use that don't smear and can be highlighted without smearing?
@yukikosakamura64986 жыл бұрын
I have found that fineliners (e.g., Sakura Micron and Staedtler triplus fineliner) do not smear. But I don't like using them because the tips blunt too quickly for my liking. As a rule, I don't highlight my Cousin because of the smearing issues. If I do highlight, I highlight first and then write over the highlighted areas.

Yukiko Sakamura Thank you! Which pen are you using in your planners here?
@yukikosakamura64986 жыл бұрын
I am using a Pilot Metropolitan, with a Pilot Kakuno nib. The ink I'm using is Noodler's Heart of Darkness. This has been my planner pen since August last year. =)

Also, another question. How much time each day would you say that you spend on both planners?
@yukikosakamura64986 жыл бұрын
To be honest, I don't know. I use them when I need to. Some weeks I spend a lot of time, especially when I'm trying to work things out on paper. Other times, I spend only a couple of minutes on them. So I really don't know.

Which pens do you prefer?

In my Hobonichi Cousin, I use a pilot metropolitan, with a pilot kakuno fine nib, inked with Noodler's Heart of Darkness. I also use muji pens and uniball signo dx (both 0.38) on non-tomoe river paper.
