Yuko Mabuchi - "Land of the Sun" 2022

"Land Of The Sun" was written by Yuko Mabuchi to commemorate the African Diaspora. Caribbean music genres are diverse, a syntheses of African, European, Indian and Indigenous influences, largely created by descendants of African slaves, who were taken out of the “Land of The Sun” on an incredible journey to a new world, overcoming the travesty of slavery, their spiritual roots continue to flourish.
Yuko is joined by Munyungo Jackson - percussion, Del Atkins - bass, Bobby Breton - drums, Troy Dexter - guitar, Billy Mitchell - synth, Pam Vincent - vocals, Joyce Vincent - vocals and Ted Cooper - vocals.
