I've finally been inspired by this channel to play Yume Nikki... and therefore to discover that Monoko, Monoe, Poniko, and Masada are barely in it. They don't do much when you encounter them, and its possible to beat the game without ever entering the zones where they live. It's like this whole channel is a weird alternative ending to Yume Nikki, where Madotsuki decided not to leap off her balcony, and instead to go back and play with the girls in her dreams forever. Makes me wonder if its possible to get that ending through a 1/69 random event triggered by walking up to the third cactus from the left in the White Desert, and sneezing on it with the towel effect... Only triggers on every 9th visit, and only if you go via the Famicom Dungeon. Wouldn't surprise me.
