Did anyone tried this and how is the sweetness level and can you taste the salted egg yolk flavor? I tries another recipe and was disappointed because it was not sweet enough and cannot taste the salted egg yolk flavor. Also, is it necessary to do the soy sauce and honey step or can I omit? I don't have a air fryer so I will be using an oven. Is the temperature you recommended in Celcius or Fahrenheit? What is the purpose of taking it out to rest for 15 minutes and doubling on the egg wash 9f using the oven? It is a lot of steps for baking in the oven and was just wondering if the steps can be shorten or some omit?
Can I bake them? If yes at what degree n how long? Thank you

yes,preheat the oven 250°C, bake for 4 mins→ take out→bush with egg yolk, rest 15 mins→bush with egg yolk→ bake for 4 mins→take out→bush with honey →bake for 1 min😊

Did anyone tried this recipe? How is the sweetness level, especially the custard filling? It seems like it will be very sweet because of condense milk and the sugar?

For Custard filling, I reduced sugar by 10g still a bit too sweet for me. But mooncake is supposed to be sweet, if it’s not sweet it may not taste as great

@@awesomestuffybelly I actually tried to make it with 10g less of sugar already and I thought it was still a bit sweet too so I might cut down on the condensed milk instead for next time but thanks for the suggestion!
