Yunan sınırında bir köy, Kestanelik köyü | ıssız bir yer | Kastanies

Sınır köyde bir günümüzü geçirdik. Edirne Pazarkule sınır kapısının yanıbaşında Yunan köyü olan Kestanelik içinde kısa bir tur attık. Açıkçası bir insan bile görememek ürkütücü olsa da farklı bir huzur barındırıyor. Evlerin bir çoğu bakımlı, bahçeleri temiz… Ancak insanlar nerede… öğlen saatleri olmasına rağmen herhangi bir hareketlilik yok… insan merak ediyor, nerede bu halk, ne işle uğraşıyorlar… Yazlık yer desen, o niteliklere sahip bir yer de değil…. Değişik bir deneyim oldu bizim için.
We spent a day in the border village. We took a short tour of Kestanelik, the Greek village next to the Edirne Pazarkule border gate. Frankly, although it is frighteny not being able to see even a person, it contains a different peace. Most of the houses are well-kept, the gardens are clean... But where are the people... although it is noon, there is no movement... people wonder, where is this people, what are they dealing with... If you say a summer place, it is not a place with those qualities.... It was a different experience for us.
