But he doesn’t do the dynamics. He is also using a second-rate fingering. He is a really wonderful pianist but perhaps he should have revised the composer’s markings before making this recording. Just because he may have played it without being corrected at an early age doesn’t mean it is acceptable at his level. Does that not make sense? I played it in 47 seconds and applied all of the dynamics. I also played evenly. Evenness and dynamics... is this really a tall order for such a celebrated concert artist as Li Yundi?
