I've got adhd and autism, I'm pretty good at masking, but i never really got in, i would always exist on the fringe of groups, and even if it's another form of alienation this song hits me so hard. I considered suicide a lot as a teenager. I am finally better. I'm moving in with the love of my life this weekend, I've passed my bachelor's exam. And i am happy.

dom has really helped me with my post traumatic stress disorder and anxiety. when I was 4 years old, I just started school and I got put in a class with this horrible teacher and she treated me like I was an animal. I remember one day she grabbed my hand, threw me into a toilet and locked me in it for ages. I was physically shaking and I had never felt so traumatized. From this day, I cannot use the toilets and I’ve got mega bladder issues and get ill quite a lot. It’s hard to get me to go to school and most of the time I have to get the teachers to take me out of my car. I’m going to his concert in March and October and I’m praying that I’ll be okay, it’s going to be the most stressful time for me because I’ll be outside the venues for hours and I don’t like being public. I just want to say that you are heard and you are valid🖤🖤 (edit 02/12/21: im literally almost healed, just from listening to his music, listening to the yungblud podcast and exposing myself to triggers. Because what I went through was so bad, I forgot about what had happened, this is because my brain automatically forgets severely traumatizing things to stop the stress. I have found out more about what had happened to me through my old friends, it's made me re- remember everything but that isn't a bad thing. I can't expose too much information because it's very triggering but I have found other young children who have gone through a similar thing to me. I am excited to go to school and I am not feeling worried about the teachers or the environment. I've also met dom at his concert, (I was very nervous, not because of the trauma, that was way over my head, I was nervous to see him). he told me that he was my real uncle, when I was with him I felt safe. I'm going to 2 of his concerts next year. But now I know, as long as I'm with Dom or the bhc I'm safe and nobody can touch me)

@@Unknownuser-mw8td @irrelevant thank you so much guys, you are all so kind and comments like these make me feel so heard, it’s only now that I feel like I have lungs for the first time, I’ve been hiding this for years and because of the bhc and people like you, I’ve been able to come out of my cage. Unfortunately, ptsd can get worse over time and it effects you for a lifetime or maybe a years if your lucky. Rn I’m suffering quite badly and I find it hard to go to school or in public but I know I have incredible guys like you to turn to when I’m feeling anxious. it can dumb most of my feelings and make them a little bit better. im hoping to get medications for it before lockdown ends so I can go to school without shaking and getting flashbacks
