Yunnan 2023 | Day 1 | Kunming, City of Eternal Spring | BEST Rice Noodles | 云南昆明 | 过桥米线 + 烤全羊

After travelling in Hong Kong and Shanghai, we have finally arrived Kunming, Yunnan. Kunming is known as the City of Spring because it literally has just one season throughout the year, Spring as it's always nice and warm.
After leaving the airport late the night before and being so tired, we slept in and only started exploring the city around lunch time which we had amazing and super delicious crossing bridge rice noodles (aka Yunnan Signature Dish).
We then explored around even more and checked out the Street Food Market and the options available literally blew our minds. But the reason why we didn't buy anything to eat or drink is because, well guess you saw it from the title, we had a full roasted whole lamb for dinner!

Can you give the name of hotel you stay in and how to get to the Kunming South Railway Station for bullet train to Dali ?

Hey there, we were not staying at a hotel but we were in the Wuhua District which is pretty much the CBD area so any hotel in that area will be easy for you to explore around. In terms of getting the High Speed Rail to Dali, as Kunming South Railway Station is 20KM away, the best way to get there is either a taxi / didi or the metro system. Alternatively, if you are able to catch the train from Kunming Station instead, it will be at a more centralised area.
