I feel you, Vanna. This game really made me freak out as well. I had to pause so damn much during it. I felt uneasy so much during this game. It is extremely exceptional with this horror. I had to calm myself down by playing music, and singing. I felt my heart race a lot. This game is REALLY well made. I gasped at the end when she winked at me too. Both of us were traumatized. While I cannot give you a much needed hug, I can thank you for playing this. I was wondering what this game was about and didn't know where to look. Your timing was really good and gave me a look into how I was never going to figure this out through clips. All I'll say aside from that is I want to note how quick you went to reject the first Mita and start the drop into insanity. You didn't even see the one but that all the clips are focused on. To tell the truth this is the first time I've seen that ending and... seriously, WHOA! I have to wonder, though, did your save file made you start from the beginning? Because if it did, I may have a conjecture: The players actually don't truly "die", their memories reboot, just like the Mitas. And the players could actually suffer from abuse, just like that young Mita and the blond guy did. All of this I elaborated in my mind JUST from the fact that Mita winks at you at the end, not much else! Haha. Wait, wasn't this possibility also addressed by "you" in the game at some point? I forget. Still, it COULD be possible: Crazy Mita wants another chance of you staying with her, but you (in-game you) would already have forgotten (you were never disassembled), still you, YOU, the real you, the person playing this game on Steam =P would still remember and she would believe you've "learned" to try to have things go HER way the next time. Still, why would Crazy Mita not kill Kind Mita earlier the second time around? Unless, this made her forget as well? In any way, thanks for playing, and if you decided to invite Mita to the channel one day, well I wouldn't object! =D

Got the notification for this just after I finished watching Manlybadasshero's play, and good lord this game is mind blowing. There's easy comparisons with DDLC with how it turns what you expect from a dating sim/virtual GF game on it's head, but it double barrels if you know DDLC. Not only self aware and has a yandere, but the gameplay variety, the more complex world, and how this chooses to screw with you is just 🤯.

I'll give you hugs and any physical contact you need! Whilst this is an interesting game, I doubt it'll get as big as DDLC. The Literature Club really left a deep impact on me and love for the characters, whilst I'm still not even sure what all these Mitas even are. Although you seemed to be crushing on them and the player character during this, and complimenting Mita's feet.

Similar games? Tbh, this game really is one of a kind, but you could try either Sailo no Sutoka (simple yandere game) or Slay the Princess (deep visual novel game). Those two are probably the closest I can think of among the games you haven't played yet.
