Lip sync is if you don’t sing at all. It’s completely normal in kpop to have a backing track on and to sing parts of the song they feel confident in and lip syncing the rest. This is not always a good thing as you describe, as it can mean there is much more stereotypes and judgements, for example there is a less freedom of choice in what to say, what to wear etc. You can see how much e.g Hwasa was judged for not wearing a bra and Solar was judged for pole dancing. There is sexy concepts in k-pop. Just because they don't outright speak about these things doesn't mean they don't have double meanings with their words. There is a lot more restrictions in Korea (K-pop) than there is in the West. Also, who said the West doesn't have cool dances? Creative music videos? You might be watching some other artists then. If you surround yourself with new artists, you might not be so biased for K-pop. I can tell you only listen to K-pop. Have an open-mind please.
