The bullet was in very close proximity to his head. Ji could have perceived it as misfire. Leo and Ji are both in survival mode for each other. They don't have anything or anyone but one another. So when it comes to people, Trust Honesty Courtesy Respect, these aren't luxuries they can afford when they're in no man's land of gangs and turf wars. Like Yuri said *"people don't do bad things because they're evil, they're often driven into it"*

Whilst we love victor as a character, He’s still a murderer, and he nearly killed the kid too. He doesn’t deserve mercy, and the kid would’ve seen that he nearly died. He wouldn’t be grateful that victor missed, because when he shot it wasn’t his intention to miss, but his hesitation put his aim off

@@nenna95100 Actually they are! Leo De La Iglesia and Ji Guang Hong were side characters in the show, but they were all figure skaters and competed against the main characters in some of the earlier competitions! I think they first appear in the episode with the cup of China!
