Sandy, the theory of evolution does not explain "everything" as you say. It does not account for the elongated skulls of Peru. Brian Forrester would have to disagree with your theory. Linear evolution is an outdated and debunked theory. Islam is ahead of the curve.

Companies using evolution to develop cures for mankind's diseases are lighting up the world's stock markets this year and not a single one of those scientists went to a Madrasa. ***** Outside of the Arabic world, like in Asia where I live, Madrasas are nearly all religious schools. They are where the Taliban studied. The female shooter in disabled center in California went to a religious school in Pakistan. Saudi Arabia has spent millions spreading its poisonous interpretation of the Quran across the planet and now we are all paying for it. You can split hairs all you like or you can ask the question of what are they teaching people in these schools?

+Jacob Castle It's not my fault that the Madrasas (schools) in Pakistan that taught the Taliban (students) adopted these terms even though they aren't the words of their native tongues. How am I supposed to refer to these places then? The Army Public School that the Taliban went into and slaughtered 132 school children exactly a year ago wasn't a Madrasa. The people who did the killing -- Abu Shamil (also went by Abdur Rehman)- A Chechen fighter and thought to be the ringleader of the group.Nouman Shah Helmand - An Afghan citizen from Helmand Province; the U.S. had placed a $500,000 bounty upon Shah.Wazir Alam Herat - An Afghan citizen from Herat.Khatib al-Zubaidi - An Arabic speaker and an Egyptian citizen.Mohammad Zahedi - An Arabic speaker and a Moroccan citizen.Jibran al-Saeedi - An Arab of unknown nationality. You see where I am going with this. Secular school, victims. Religious school, perpetrators.

OK. Let's just call them Islamic Religious Schools then... What scientific progress have they contributed to? What nobel science prizes have come out of these schools? What country in the Islamic world isn't suffering at the hands of the graduates of these schools. Instead of splitting hairs about my language and talking about neurolinguistic programming, just assess the facts. Let's look at the most-populous Islamic countries -- Indonesia - Bali Bombing Pakistan - Peshawar school attack India - Mumbai massacre Bangladesh - bloggers hacked to death Egypt - Russian jet Nigeria - Boko Haram Bring back our girls Iran - Argentina Jewish center bombing Turkey - Refuses to fight IS, bombs Kurds Europe - London, Madrid, Paris Algeria - civil war 200,000 killed Iraq - Sunni-Shiite bloodbath ongoing Sudan - civil war 2 million dead Afghanistan - civil war, 9-11 plotters Something is failing in the education at these schools...

Darwin wasn't able to test any of this but modern scientists are and it shows the similarities of genes in certain types of animals. Wrong again. The steel from cars is melted down and turned into buildings. The cells from animals that are similar enough to humans can be modified by tweaking certain parts of the code to create cures. Guess what the name of a Belgium biotech company that has tripled in value in the past year? Galapagos. After the island where Darwin made his biggest breakthroughs. I'm sorry but history is leaving you behind my friend.

Let's think about that for a minute shall we. Was the first building made by man a mud hut or was it the Burj Khalifa skyscraper. Just like evolution, there was a process of trial and error in which bad buildings fell down and good buildings stood up. When you have a kid it will be similar to you but not exactly the same and if it is well adapted to its environment then it will survive to procreate. Over billions of years life evolved from a basic cell (the mud hut) to the human (the skyscraper). The closer you get to the skyscraper, the more similarities there are in the materials used and the designs. It's all very logical and, guess what, scientists are making billions of dollars and advancing mankind with this theory. Except most Muslim countries aren't taking part in that development and most of the people there still basically live in mud huts because they refuse to believe in evolution because they believe in the Quran.

Have you not considered the spirit of our being, the spirit in which we do what we do, in the way we go? We see the spirit of Jesus Christ is the spirit of Compassion the spirit of Mercy, the spirit of Charity, the spirit of Peace, the spirit of Forgiveness, the spirit of Freedom. Since your speaking of the soul one must consider what is guiding the soul, of the spirits housed in the vessel of our body. We sin if we follow in an evil spirit of being which leads us opposite these seven spirits.
